I've created a team on the Fox version of Fantasy A-League. I have my own league set up so if anyone wants to hop in that would be good! Joined up. Good team but Burns is a defensive minded hack midfielder, he's not going to score you any decent points. Pellegrino is squad filler at best. Hall is 3rd in line for GK at Adelaide, if you're really set on a Red backup goalie, then Izzo will be the one warming the pine
Cool, thanks for the thoughts. My GK bench spot was a lottery really, as Ryan is a gun and will play every week of course. Burns- can be swapped anywhere, looking at McGlinchey and J.Brown. Pellegrino- exactly what you said, spot filler. He will gain me some $ but would prefer to have him on the bench. Any other rookies I should be aware of?
How will Pellegrino earn you $ if he's not even in the Central Coast side? If he's in their best XI they have some serious problems. You want your bench earning money too (which isn't a lot compared to FPL)if possible so you want them all playing. There are plenty of =<$100 midfielders if you look. The only backup goalies that may have a chance of playing on merit (and not injuries etc) are Moss (50/50 with Paston), Thomas (MV), Redmayne (MH), Birighitti (NJ) and Tyson (WSW).
I have heard some whispers he will be played, but maybe not. He can be in the bench and have Caira on the field. Anyway, have modified my team now. Trades: Hall out Redmayne in. Burns out Brown in. (Brown ready to take next step. Very talented) Pellegrino out Polenz in. (Will Polenz get a game over other cheap WSW mids?) 65k left. Worst comes to worst I can use my WILDCARD early.
Ok, haven't had any activity here for a while so thought I'd check up with how we are all travelling. My team is going along nicely, but not setting the world on fire. My current squad: Ryan, (Birighitti) Rose, Sainsbury, Heffernan, (Golec, Gerhardt) Broich, Rojas, Vidosic, Fenton, (Polenz) Heskey, Del Piero, Huysegems. Wanna get rid of Huysegems but only have 90k. Neumann may be my man. Otherwise I can't see too many faults technically apart from Fenton grinding to a halt lately...
