With Knight and Milera both injured and Cameron gone to Brissy, he might get a few games....

As TheTassieHawk said for some reason he's pure mid in Supercoach which means there are far better options. If he was a fwd/mid I'd have picked him easily. I go for Geelong and I can say that he will play mostly up forward for his pressure but he is a capable midfielder and may get some time in there too.
He had brilliant Supercoach stats as a junior averaging 145 points, 9.7 tackles, 25 disposals, 1.3 goals and 1.7 assists per game at TAC Cup level in 2017.

Will take Dusty's VC score. Thanks, Captain Darcy.

Kicking myself for Simpson (Curnow not so much, big gamble even if it was him or Trac) because I always had him 5th or 6th on my defender shortlist (picked 3). So reliable

Can't see a way to get Garlett's score on field and not worth rejigging rookies over it. He has allowed me to get rid of starting a WC rookie, so avoid playing that lottery. If one goes bang, can just correction trade one of the worst mid/fwd rookie I have after rd2, when things are clearer.

Defence is what's going to make/break my season. Starting so light there with Sicily D3 is my biggest risk.

Sunday teams in the OP have been updated, English F/R and Gowers (pos??) made the cut, Keefe didn't.

Can someone please post when final Essendon and Adelaide teams are confirmed, cheers TTH

Your listing of the Geelong team has 5 on the bench. Ratugolea has been named at CHF, not interchange. Stanley is an EMG.

Surprised to see English make the cut. Now to decide, do I swap him in for Cameron to give me 30 starters, or do I bank my double Dusty points. If I thought he would continue to get games it would be a no-brainer, unfortunately I'm not real sure!

Same question, I could go Olango to have a captains loophole all season, but the tempting factor that English will get semi regular games is hard to pass up.

English getting an early season game must be in part due to Boyd and Scache not getting a run for Round 1.

I am going to run with him due to the potential to earn $$$ if he can stay in for another 2-5 weeks and if not his dpp may be handy later on.

Oh and I forgot to mention that the Melbourne Brayshaw is only an emergency this week.

Yeah it makes sense to, just means I don't have a loophole option. But no doubt one of the rookies I select this week will be dropped next week.

Quite a few left field rookies there! This preseason must've had more injury casualties than first thought.

I'd try to get English in, but don't think I have the money to spare. That F/R is handy wherever you would put him. Can't see him scoring much playing the token ruck role at Footscray.

I am with you, if you have the coin, I don't see how you don't run with him. The 15 points I (perhaps) drop by captaining a non-Dusty will mean jacks..t by the end of the season.

Definitely looks like a player. But has to kick bags of goals to get many SC points as a KPF.
