In Bangkok, we do things nice and easy..... Lot of time yet and nothing has met the given criteria, though Armo clearly in front
Following our recently completed discussions with SnoZ we have no need for a young defender, and are looking for either a high draft pick, or a player to fill a mid or fwd role in exchange for young Tom..
Apologies for the lack of immediate response today guys, we left our hotel room at 10am and got back at 7pm Bangkok time.. The reserve is off on Tom Nicholls, Grav's bid of pick 21 is worth more to me than a combination involving a later pick sorry bandit.. It certainly started that way CR, but 'sh!t is getting serious' as they say.. .
In that case..... (If I may be so creative) I will offer Jack Trengove (Melb), Chris Yarran, Ryan Harwood and pick 52 for Goddard and Hodge together.
How many bids do we get for a player? Just 1, yeah? and], once posted, can our bid be altered or withdrawn?

Yeah, I am running with normal auctions conditions in play, you can bid as often as you like, but upwards, I don't think we should allow any further edits to bids posts made, and bids stand until trumped or rejected. You also can't bid what you don't own, so if you are going to bid using a player or pick as currency you can't then trade them until that bid is beaten or rejected.
Maybe for clarity, the Auctioneer.....in this case you Len & the Packers....should reject bids also until such time as you are satisfied with a bid & thus lift the reserve......at present the 'rejection' is only implied.
It would certainly be ideal, but its an as time permits thing for me at the moment, priority is having my first holiday in 10 years and making sure my wife enjoys it For mine, I made it clear that once I received a bid worthwhile I would pull the reserve, which I did a couple of hours ago when I finally got online, and nominated the leading contender so any other bidder can consider themselves 'unwinning' the Nicholls auction currently. I am travelling to Chiang Mai tomorrow but should be online after dinner and the best bid received by midnight will have Tom. I personally don't see anything wrong with some conditional bidding within reason either, for example, if someone was to offer Taylor Adams for two different players being auctioned on the condition that the first acceptor got him I'd be comfortable with that approach

He and Tyson are examples of why I buy up so much GWS talent, it's not so much about what they do now, but it's what they will do later and in some cases definitely elsewhere. They have managed to re-sign most of them for now, but they wont be able to when the next tranch of contracts roll around, the league is (I believe wisely) actively working to prevent that much elite staying in one bottle.. hmmm, I'm not doing a good job of talking you into selling him here am I lol
