Jaques was 4th best batsmen before this week too, never considered bringing him in but just goes to show it changes quickly with a -20! Butterworth jibbed a wicket, got a huge nick and not given.
If my rough calculations are correct Rana will go up to about $116,500 next round. Not even sure if it's worth getting him in for 3 rounds or should I just persist without him until finals time?
What do you do with Supercoach kash? Do you get the prem at his highest price or do you look to get a prem for a bargain?
Good news Hazlewood in over Starc, hopefully he makes the most of it! I think Steve O'Keefe will be back for the next game too so even tougher competition for spots.
missed both lockouts over xmas/new year - should be able to make a few tweaks but annoyed that i didn't get to flick some undeerwhemliing perofmrers before their prices changed !!
Crosthwaithe out tonight, Harris likely inclusion and Cooper to be the keeper. Also McGain dropped for Drew but that's less fantasy relevant. In other news Dwayne Bravo is heading home for national selection, but no worries about Chris Gayle: http://www.sydneysixers.com.au/news/article/2012-01/2012-01/farewell-dwayne
Typical, had the dilemma of choosing between Croswaste & Trriffitt - at least I get Triffitt's 42!!! In other developments, looks like Marsh will end up being dropped from the test squad unless he can pull out a big score in the 2nd dig - could be a potential good trade!!!
More news courtesy of the Fox telecast - Blizzard is OUT! I have him in my team as a bit of a unique pick and he was scoring really well, I think top 5 batting scorers. Botha last game for the Strikers, and Vettori due back for Friday match against the Hurricanes.
Heat: Hayden, Robinson, Forrest, Christiansen, Lynn, Nesser, Paulsen, Harris, Hartley, Hauritz, McDermott Strikers: Harris, Klinger Ferguson, Cooper, Borgas, Botha, Drew, Richardson, Thomas, Muirhead Can;t for the life of me see how Berry can select Muirhead before O'Brien, Putland or McGain!!! Edit: Strikers won toss and elected to bat
O'Brien is definitely in the 11, you only have 10 listed up there Bear. Also forgot to mention it's the battle of the stupid looking cyan teams.
My Bad Thokash - just posted the names the Fox site had listed as playing in the teams section (before the scoreboard went up) Still don't like the idea of Muirhead being selected ahead of Putland or McGain
Yeah seems like they are going in with a bowler too many, would have just played Blizzard in his spot probably. Think I'll cash Blizzard and Lee in next week for one downgrade and upgrade to either Hodge or Naved. Can't find any info on Hazlewood but hopefully he is right, especially with Bravo's spot opening up in their team.
I think Naved is the go with the upgrade, had him in my team from the start - just wish I had the cash to have him in my team in the Fox comp though!!! And I totally agree with your comment regarding the silly looking cyan teams - why the hell SA went away from the red has got me beat!!!
Nice work from Cooper, in a strange coincidence in both his matches hes finished 43* (27) with 5 fours and a six. Might just stick with Cooper playing on field in the batters and then upgrading the bowlers as you suggested Bear.
Cam White could be a DOWNGRADE target His price has fallen down heaps and he is a proven T20 performer, just needs some form! I'm going to fall back down this round, Razzaq and Lee with two 0's Richardson with two handy wickets so far eases the fall a bit
Yeah Cam White is going to be the perfect guy for finals if the Stars get there, can step up in big games and score massive, and if his price keeps falling will be cheap as anyone. Callum Ferguson was heading the same way before he had a day out in the field tonight.
Can I have it confirmed that the chucker is going back home to play for the Saffas? I would have thought he would have had at least one or two more matches available.
http://www.adelaidestrikers.com.au/news/article/2012-01/brisbane-heat-v-adelaide-strikers-match-report "Coops, who smashed five fours and a six in his 27-ball knock, and Botha (28 off 16) - in his last game for the Adelaide Strikers - finished steadily to set a total the Heat never looked like chasing."
