I think it's a good strategy trying to go the unique picks this round, doesn't look like it will pay off but it's worth the risk. Who knows, Wade could easily score 0 to be honest. Also one thing I didn't realise when I was doing all the planning, you don't need 1 player from each team for the batsmen/bowlers - you can just have 2 teams playing each other and you are still guaranteed 2 players going through to the final week. Edit: And there goes Gayle first ball, that makes things interesting!
Oh damn! Gayle was my initial option to trade out this week! At least hes not my captain. And McCullum had 2 catches!!!

Hey guys, please help me out. As I understand it the finals are for score only with no league head to head matches? Now if I have several say Hurricane players & they play in the semis & then the final do they score twice ie do we have two scores left to get, after this round is completed? PS Thought I was clever not having Gale at any time during the year & tonite when I really needed young MM to score he gets a golden for -20 to wipe out the non Gale advantage (Bummer)
There you go not all is bad, Haddin a cool -20 and McCullum ending on 42. Marsh bombed out unfortunately, although still a decent score due to 2 catches.
@HeavyMen Round 8 (three finals matches) contributes to your overall team score and ranking, however it is not included in league play. Round 8 (Finals) Fri Jan 20 1st semi-final (1 v 4) Sat Jan 21 2nd semi-final (2 v 3) Sat Jan 28 Final So both semis and finals are included in Round 8, with no trade period.
I think those catches were one each to the Marsh boys? Sorry to labour the point but does a player score twice if he plays a semi & the granny? If I had all Hurricanes & they win their semi I get two different/seperate scores added together for the round?
TTH - unfortunately Richardson is out due to the back injury again tonight - stuffs me right up coz my reserve didn't play either!!!
Yeah this game can be a bit rough with no team lists that's for sure. For tonight's game had White on the bench with Cooper playing, maybe I could have risked it the other way around. Hussey is a freak, this fantasy games perma captain for sure!
Not a good round for me this week, but I think that might be the story across the board. In the end, my 2 trades actually made me points, so not too dissatisfied with that.
