I picked Voges under the impression he would be bowling a few overs to get the economy bonus. Now that it isn't happening and that he bats low down the order, trading him to Birt + 25k a no brainer? Also not sure whether to be disappointed with Lee, he is bowling so well, but just not getting any wickets! I will definitely stick with him though.
God damnit why isn't Nannes playing, definitely the most frustrating thing about this competition is not announcing teams. Feel sorry for those who have both him and Hopes.
I've got Afridi as captain, didn't bat, hasn't got a catch or runout, hasn't a wicket and has a bad economy rate , I think my captain will get me a double zero.
Yeah got Afridi too not captain though, I think Lucas said he has him captain also - who knows why he didn't come at 2nd drop ahead of Reardon and Razzaq. Weird not seeing Heal, the Renegades have almost too many bowling options which was a reason why I didn't want Maxwell, but he seems to be bowling over McDonald/Heal.
Am so glad I traded Nannes out for Hilfenhaus the other day otherwise I would've been stuffed - even though Hilfenhaus only scored 20, it's better than munching a bloody donut!!!
Sheepishly raises his hand & whispers through the tears, I have Nannes & Hopes & Warner & Cowen & Butterworth (White too, he may as not be playing with two single digit innings) Hazlewood 14pts as cover for Nannes & Nuthun else. Glad Lucas didn't offer a friendly wager in our game as I would (of course), taken it!
Ouch HM - it totally sucks having late withdrawals and teams not named till close to match time. The reason I traded Nannes out was because of the reports from the game in Adelaide that he had a bit of an injury concern during the match - but it looks like there's a possibility I will have to trade Hilfenhaus next round if he gets a run in the test. Was very impressed with Marsh tonight, he's definitely booked his spot in the test on Monday
Massive innings from Gayle tonight, was getting annoyed that he didn't get a bowl then came out with that! I am liking the Fox points system though, the +20 SR bonus in the "official" comp seems pretty average, the Fox one rewards SR better with the multiplier, not to mention sixes and milestones.
After round 2 I'm currently ranked 526 with GunnaGetFlogged, while league 443055 or 'Arf Serious are doing ok at 668 of 2428... Now, I am hungry, but these donuts are getting a rather sour taste...
The TSCC League has rocketed up to 49 of 2428, great effort! And Bear, you have beaten me two out of two in both my TS leagues over the last two weeks ... but well done! On the chopping block for me are: Voges, A Coulter-Nile, N (I still don't know why I picked him...)
Terrible score, 361, would have been nicer if MY BOWLERS BOWLED and I put the captain on Gayle. No chance of overall for me.
I scored 411 I would've gone better if captain afridi had of scored something and if I din't trade Quiney in to get some cash.
Not good SKT - I am quite pleased with my 634 And I managed an improved 1172 in the Fox comp - although I do wish I had Gayle as captain there after he scored a nice 376
Anthak. He looked pretty composed on Friday batting with Gayle. Score may have been inflated due to 3 catches. Good luck!
