Quote from Jason on July 25, 2012, 15:36 Stanton to Marc Murphy. Done.
Nice trade. Was thinking Dal->Murphy but will be keeping him

Quote from Philosoraptor on July 26, 2012, 13:36 If I had Stanton I personally would not trade him - unless I had fully upgraded every other position and have at least 4 trades left. There is a chance he will average 100 the rest of the way. He is a proven 100 point average player. That may have to do for you as your M6.
If I was still a shot at anything significant in the competition, I'd totally agree with you. But my SC season for 2012 is way past the point of no-return, was over a long time ago in fact. But damn it felt good to press that trade button on Stanton.

Quote from TopHeavy on July 27, 2012, 12:25 This should be a sticky thread for next year in case people ponder having him in their side.
If he starts year like he did this season then id happily have him in my side for first 8-10 weeks and then trade him to Gazza/Pendles or one top guys when they drop in $$$$
Well I traded Horsley and Stanton for Baguley and Pendles. Stanton 70. Baguley 83. I'm feeling pretty happy at the moment.
Stanton has a soft tissue injury now, not sure about severity. https://www.afl.com.au/news/newsarticle/tabid/208/newsid/142914/default.aspx
I'm with Jason - Stanton to Murphy was a stroke of genius, especially after the idiocy of picking Stanton in the first place!
2 trades left... I know (trading is like crack to an addict) but Im fully set (without troubling the overall).. Stanton to who now that Murphinator scored a brazilian points and what to do with Lake? Suggestions... before I pull the trigger and leave myslef skint of trades for the finals..
Trade him out. I did it for Swan a few weeks ago and never looked back. Brent now finds himself on the never again list.
I put Jobe on my never again list after his never ending hamstring problems last year. Look how that's turned out this year.
I wouldn't put him on the never again list, once Essendon become a good side, he'll score elite numbers again.
