Perhaps just stick the author of most of it in a museum and have done with it.

Can trading continue throughout the PSD or does it pause?

Pause at delists then starts again when draft starts under draft trade conditions

    A point of clarification please.
Can I trade one draft pick for one player on another coaches' list? I understand a trade can include future draft picks either way. But let's stick with the basic principle.

PS - I have read the rules and am not sure this is covered unless we define a current draft pick as "an asset" which can then be exchanged for "an asset."

From my understanding you can trade active 2019 PSD picks and 2019 MSD picks in this draft. You can trade picks for players as long as you are not needing to activate a dead pick in the process. Example from 2017 below.

Thank you @Len and @That KI Guy . I thought that was the case but better to clarify beforehand than err.

Timing of the 2020 FA draft near the long weekend in March suits me a lot better than the proposed mid February.

If it has to be in February then a week later than proposed suits me reasonably well.

Several states and territories have a public holiday on the second Monday in March which is the 9th in 2020. The states that have got a public holiday on 9th March 2020 and the name for the holiday in that state or territory according to the link at the bottom of the post is:

    ACT - Canberra Day
    SA - March Public Holiday
    TAS - Eight Hours Day
    VIC - Labour Day

@Len NSW along with SA and ACT have a public holiday for Labour Day on Monday 5th October 2020.

I am a fan of early starts as I've said a few times, so the earlier the better for me, October would work tbh, they just have to bring the NAB draft fwd a few weeks :p

Happy to vote/discuss the PSD draft timing... we can push it back as we smash through it, give people at little bit more of a sighter on the JLT etc.

Long weekend doesn't work in my experience though... too many people away focussing on real life (rightly so)
