Just as a point of interest, I might be persuaded to lend my writing talents to the ORFFA previews and reviews in 2013. If there is a need.</blockquote>
Seriously awesome, I may go missing when it's my turn and need a backup :)

Thanks Len. Trouble with voting is you have to stick it in the right ballot box.

Last day of trading according to the calendar... are we going to see some last minutes faxes being sent at 4:59 to the league headquarters?

My memory cannot be trusted but is the '22' correct? I know I have 'nodded off' a few time times this year as a result of ingesting chemicals but I seem to recall each of us needs to reduce our list size by a minimum of 6 players per year with at least four to be culled before the PSD. Such a strategy comes with an obligation to cull a minimum of two before the MSD.

Hence, at 5 March 2016 maximum list size should be 24. </div>
Definitely should be 24 mate, I must have been nodding off by then, will fix now :)

31 August-2 September 2012: Final ORFFA Round for Season 2012.
3 September 2012: Mad Monday at Foul Bay.
3 September 2012: Call for nominations for ORFFA Commissioner (provided X doesn't suddenly return from his rock).
    7 September 2012: Nominations close.
    8-9 September 2012: Elections.
10 September 2012: Announcement of office bearers and tasks for 2013.
11-16 September 2012: Open discussion, followed by vote on ORFFA rules (e.g., delistments, etc.).
11-28 September 2012: End of season trade period.
1-28 February 2013: Pre-season trade period (SC player positions will be known at this time).
    NAB Round 1: Delistment Week.
    NAB Rounds 2-4: Pre-season Draft.

We need to await notification for the bye rounds before we can plan further on mid-season draft and the draw for the year.

Not happy or uncomfortable, please say so.

    Is this still current?

Yes, although given the SC positions have been known for a month I guess the trading period could open earlier, though this could disadvantage people whom are expecting it to start on the 1st Feb....

[span style='font-size: 14px; line-height: 1.3;]Hey Terry, the actual dates for the NAB cup are out now, and relevant. [span style='font-size: 14px; line-height: 1.3;]Round one starts on the 15th Feb and ends on the 17th, Delistments are to be made by which date? [span style='font-size: 14px; line-height: 1.3;]Round two runs from the 22nd to the 24th and round four is actually the Grand Final on either the 15th or 16th of March. [span style='font-size: 14px; line-height: 1.3;]
[span style='font-size: 14px; line-height: 1.3;]Could you please now turn the quoted text into definite dates? [span style='font-size: 14px; line-height: 1.3;]
    [span style='font-size: 14px; line-height: 1.3;]Ta!

My two cents.... Trade period should start nowish given that we know positions. I am assuming that people will want to get their trading out of the way prior to delisting and if it starts on Feb 1 that will only give people right on two weeks. Don't know if that is long enough for some, given that most of us have work commitments meaning that turn around on e-mails might not be as timely as some would like.

Yeah in light of the NAB cup schedule, sounds like we need to fix some dates. I'm pretty flexible but agree with CR that starting trade period earlier might give us more breathing space. Perhaps all coaches could be PM'd if this was going to occur? A few days to digest delistments prior to draft would be good (if that hasn't been catered for)

[span style='font-size: 14px; line-height: 1.3;]Thank you sire, [span style='font-size: 14px; line-height: 1.3;]One suggestion, could we please have the trade and delistments both end at 5pm on the 16th instead of the 17th? This would give me a much better chance of having a genuine list of draft eligible players available, both to publish and to check against.
I am curious to see the impact of overlapping delistments and trading, I can't think of an objection to it, I think I even like it, but I can see it throwing up somequandaries.
[span style='font-size: 14px; line-height: 1.3;]We need to hear from Walesy if the teams will be copied over, or if we will be required to enter them manually once the stats area is active.

    [span style='font-size: 14px; line-height: 1.3;]Wish I had said this, maybe a pm and we can compare? [span style='font-size: 14px; line-height: 1.3;]
[span style='font-size: 14px; line-height: 1.3;]Could someone remind of the de-list ment deal - every team needs to 'out' four? Should be simple for most. [span style='font-size: 14px; line-height: 1.3;]
    [span style='font-size: 14px; line-height: 1.3;]Me? I would like a compulsory de-list 10 rule, but there you are.

From memory the actual rule is enter the draft with 22 players, enter the mid season draft with 24 players. So you can trade your squad up or down from 26 via draft picks, but you must delist the required amount of players to arrive at those targets.
