Looking forward to the draft, the Spelunkers don't have anything to do for the first 2 rounds... but such is life

I can help oversee the draft as well with whomever may be responsible for the process. I do think however that if we all check back in here quite regularly, as well as have a good idea of who is available beforehand (which will occur thanks to the delistings thread and the 'list of undrafted players' thread that is to be worked on and put in place. On a slightly separate note, I intend on pulling together some sort of draft and trade period round up post after the draft and trade period ends ... it'll give me some practice as league scribe for 2013.

Thanks Chris, I feel I have it under control atm, but am 100% certain I will be able to use some assistance too, will be looking forward to the review

Given the hive of trading activity (thanks Fitzy) and it aint over yet, following Chris' review, the Chook might want to revise his odds? One might think it prudent to wait until after the ps draft to do so, however, many of the draftees have yet to play a game, so no real points record on which to calculate odds.

How about we put the draft back a week or two so we get to watch the kids in action first? If that is what your suggesting TiB, then I agree, if not, then well thats my suggestion.... lol
I am unclear on the deadline for de-listments. Both the 16th and the 17th are mentioned above. I would be happy to delay the draft by 12 or 24 hours to allow lists to be completed if that allows us to see the first three fixtures in the NAB Cup. Thoughts?

If you push it back one week - does that mean you get to see all the kids play? Probably not. Be daring - jump without a parachute!
I think tib was talking about the revision of the odds chels, but will leave him to respond on that. The delistments are to be done by 5pm on the 16th, this is also when trading concludes, we originally had the 17th but I asked for a blank day (the 17th) so I could get the lists corrected, both team and available. I don't believe we can put it back a week and still complete in time tbh.
thanks for the quick reponse Len, was suggesting putting it back 24 hrs (not a week). I assume all times are AEDST?

Sorry mate, was replying on the fly and thought fitzy's post was yours also.. AEDST indeed. Fitzy I am not sure it impacts enough to matter mate, though the end date has room to slide also. I do believe though most of us are itching to 'get it on' and I know I have my list 21 deep without looking at delisted players, I assume most people havealreadypicked favourites amongst the draft pool regardless of whether they play R1 NAB cup. I am really looking forward to seeing who gets delisted from some teams, I am very keen on some that I am quite sure will be delisted, though not keen enough to change my first pick..

There will be a revised set of odds posted after the draft. I arbitrarily adjust the odds here and there after every trade and will continue to throw darts at the wall at the conclusion of the draft so that everyone is suitably outraged.

While I haven't seen the revised odds yet CR, allow me to get in early with my outrage! <img alt='' class='ForumImage' src='http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys/smiley-angry019.gif[/img]
