anthak wrote: Thanks Len. Midnight in Melb and Syd, I presume. sorry mate that was presumptuous of me, yep Melbourne is our Greenwich
From the OP in the delist thread: Delists must be made by midnight Saturday 1st March, draft to kick-off the next day, Sunday 2nd at noon. The next day bit makes it hard to get wrong, I hope
What?? There is no such thing as 12:00 am. It is 12 noon or 12 midnight. In this case I think the latter.
Wondering if it is possible to get an update on the OP re: MSD and trade period dates Have had a bit of a dig for itbut just came up with Quagmire, Donkeys and wet Hippies...

Thnx Len, Can I confirm another point/s regarding trading prior to the MSD. If coaches wish to trade MSD draft picks then I presume that this can only be done if a coach has an obligation to participate in the MSD. And if a pick was to be traded, it would only be identified by round number. Coaches whom delisted down to 22 or lower prior to the PSD (and thus have voluntary MSD involvement) would not be able to trade MSD picks. Are these correct presumptions?

Draft picks for any round of the 2014 MSD and the 2015 PSD can be traded, regardless of compulsory involvement levels. For the 2014 MSD the round number and pick number of the traded pick needs to be listed and will be knowable, for 2015 PSD picks traded the round number must be listed, the pick number is unknowable. The value of the pick is determined by the holder, so whilst a R1 pick for a coach who does not have to participate in the MSD is nil should he not trade it or exercise it, it is still a valid currency and can be traded as normal to realise value. Hope that answers the query
