I don't have Swan but I'll go with Judd v GCS. He could cut loose against a very young side hell bent on getting the footy themselves rather than trying to shut down the opposition....

On my team, would have to be Swan, Judd or Goddard. I had Swan last week and didn't disappoint.
At this stage, I think I will stick with Swannie.

I'm not convinced on Judd as captain this week (something wrong when the Carlton supporters are arguing for Swan and the Magpies for Judd). He isn't much of a downhill skier - plays his best against the best and in the close games.

Would not be surprised to see Gibbs or Murphy cut it up this week, but will stick with PermaCaptain Swan I think.

GAJ looms as a massive POD....considering everyone thinks he will be a lock from round 10 - if you don't have Swan yet why wouldn't you roll the dice on Gary and load the points now...8 weeks ahead of everyone else.
Am I crazy? Has anyone else had this thought?

Probably none of us have GAJ yet. We'll have him later in the season. If you have him yeah think about him, but if you have Swan you would be taking a risk not having him.

Agree Lucas. I've not encountered one person who has him on the radar yet which makes me wonder how big a risk it would be to take last year's best player now as a POD. Mind goes back to when Judd moved to Carlton and everyone said he would struggle.....

Corks has a good point. He may even get rested late in the game should Carlton have the game sewn up. Interesting..... The captain issue for those of us without Swan may be the biggest issue we face each week.

I'm lucky enough to have Swan, Judd, Goddard, Gibbs, Roo, Buddy and Sex on the beach to choose from, but will go with Swan

You'd be a fool to swap out swan. Do it at your own risk. Like ablett last year. Would only need to swap swan for judd or goddard on collingwood bye

With Carlton playing GC, it's Gibbs for mine.

You'd be crazy to swap out Swan. When people say he's going to be their perma captain, it's a good sign that you should keep him.

Unfortunately I don't have him on my side. I do have quite a solid midfield still, but as for the captain it'll most likely be Gibbs for me
