    Rd 8 2011: 121 SC points, 28 disposals

Average is 116 SC points with 27 disposals.

Note: Only one score over 125 which was the Round 15 game last year. Score helped by his 7 tackles, 4 score assists and 4 hitouts. He is normally tagged by Selwood.

In my opinion the absolute standout for the round is Goldstein. Following him, Pendlebury has had a good recent history against Sydney whilst Fyfe has been very solid against West Coast. Rockliff has also flashed some recent brilliance against Carlton. Dangerfield against a struggling Essendon also deserves a look.

For me, I will be putting the vice captaincy on Goldstein. Should he fail, I would rely on my captain Fyfe or Rockliff.

    Good luck all!

      Great stuff as always :)
Pendles into Danger for me, only because I missed the Goldy train.
Pretty sure Dangerfields record against Essendon doesn't reflect today's easybeat status

What about Swan? Have him vc ahead of Pendles, Hannebery and Parker as it needs to be on the Friday night.

And should vc fail I'd appreciate thumbs and/or opinions for captain option:
      TU: Dangerfield
      TD: Selwood

      Hanners - Goldy

Can see Sydney giving the Pies a hiding so no huge scores from the Pies

Tricky week. The smart play is to VC Goldy but most of my alternative C options are playing before him (Hanners, Pendles, Swan, Danger)!

Fyfe would normally be a no-brainer but slightly nervous about him returning from injury. Will prob look at him, Rocky, and maybe even Dusty against GC

Then if no good, C on Sandi

I will probably go Hanners into Goldy as well. Hannebery hasn't scored a 150 or above though this year, whereas pendlebury nearly hit 200 when the pies were beaten by the hawks. I'm thinking 130 minimum now on loophole? Took pendles 129 last week and Goldstein beat it easily and should score well against the saints
