I don't really agree with you here Yad although I can see where you're coming from. But 17 out of 18 players today, have either made a pick or commented thru the 'banter' so there's only one member who hasn't made it online today so unless we can get 18 players agreeing to a particular time (which I doubt very much that can happen) then I don't believe the rest of us should be asked to send in lists to someone, just because one person can't get on line at a particular time. I'm losing a little interest as well but I really don't see a solution and we did set a 24hr time limit so Wrightbrendan has until 5.34pm tomorrow to make his selection.....just sayin'.
Personally I'm not too concerned with how things are playing out. I understand the sentiments and I'm also getting a bit frustrated at times but as long as we keep getting thru 10-12 picks a day I'm comfortable with that. It's a shame wrightbrendan couldn't let us know he wouldn't make it today but who knows what the reason is - he might not be able to get online or something really serious may have come up unexpectedly. I think it was always gonna be a big ask to get everyone on at once. So I'm happy to go with the flow but I don't think it's time for any drastic measures just yet.
ill address the elephant in the room or 'be the bad guy' and pose the question of reducing the league size to remove those that clearly arent that keen and cant spare the time to check a few times a day? Easy enough to do with their picked players going back into the draft pool etc etc, its just a matter of is that too rash... just a question for debate, not a personal attack. I personally think in this technological age if you are in the country and are in fact too serious then youd either sit in front of a pc all day like me or youd do as others have mentioned and set email alerts on your phone. You can buy a smart phone and $30 credit for about fifty bucks these days! not saying go and buy a phone just for this, just saying that surely everyone has net on their phone and can respond that way. Everyones got varying degrees of shit goin on... still just boils down to being keen enough in my opinion

I know, I'm still way back in the 20th century.....but luvvin' it....
i did say 'if youre in the country' for your benefit mate!! i kno how bad those DTAC data charges are!!
I'm with you guys on this, I'd much prefer to be further advanced in the draft but such is life. I've been thinking about the future and when push comes to shove I believe we will need to reduce the 24hr clause and rather than reward no shows with the next highest averaging player teams should be penalised with the lowest averaging player, this may help to create some urgency. Thoughts everyone?
I too am frustrated by the glacial pace of the draft but yup *&^% happens! I also think reducing the 24 hr clause to 12 hr would be beneficial and a fair way of speeding things up. Hopefully things will improve soon and the many times I check this, will see it being my turn quicker - I love this stuff!

Apologies all. I was away for the weekend and didn't know that the 'super draft time' was happening. Didn't think we would even be at this stage by this morning so i have just gone with the next highest average to keep things going cause picks started going everywhere and I have know idea where strategies are at now!
