Well I would have preferred Birchall but quality backs are hard to find and goin fast.

Pretty happy to land big Tex though to give the Monarchs an imposing 2 pronged attack. Nearly took him with my 3rd pick so surprised to see him there at the end of round 4.

I think it's a bit early after 4 rounds, as not all teams have the 4 positions covered. However, apart from my team of course (haha!), I like the looks of Coolgardie, Groote, Sthn Cross and Pakenham, not necessarily in that order.

You've got me stressed Marty, I can't find anything on the net about a training incident. Are you starting the shenanigans early you bastard?!

I don't know anything about a training mishap but I did read where Tex thought he may not be ready until about Rd 5-6...

I can handle him missing a few games.I think it would be interesting at some stage to have a poll to choose who you would swap lists with if you had to. I thought EE started off with a couple of real bargains in Fyfe and Buddy but geez Martin is a massive call. Goondawindi are obviously pushing for a year 1 flag.

I know it was early picking Martin, but he'll be premium within 3 seasons and elite soon after, the kids is a jet. It's probably too early to asess the draft but there's a few teams looking good and some interesting strategies.
