No preference here except for a bit of notice and will be all good. +1. OR we dont do super draft but lower the auto pick time to 6-12 hours at which time you get the next highest avg of 2013... both solutions would probably give us the extra crucial days we need for trading an stuff

OR we dont do super draft but lower the auto pick time to 6-12 hours at which time you get the next highest avg of 2013... both solutions would probably give us the extra crucial days we need for trading an stuff I think if we reduce the selection window we can't go below 12hrs so people are not forced to pick after midnight OR we say that drafting hours are 7am to midnight and the selection window only applies to these hours e.g. If we have a 6hr window and someone picks at 10pm the next person has until 11am to select (10 to midnight = 2hrs, 7 to 11=4hrs, total = 6hrs). Otherwise with time differences I may pick at 9pm Perth time which would mean that the next team may have to pick by 6am Eastern time, not really very fair. Personally I'd prefer the Super draft where we try to get through 3+ rounds in a couple of hours.
I'm all for a super draft day, but in the meantime lets keep going and not just wait for the super day! It doesn't really bother me when we hold the day. I don't feel that we should force people to give their lists to anyone else, nor should anyone feel the obligation to do so. The current 24h limit works alright for now, but maybe in a week or two if we haven't really progressed then we'll need to enforce a 12h limit. I guess an alternate is for people to supply their phone number to a couple of other coaches, and we can call if its your turn to pick. If you can't get online yourself to do it, maybe you can 'call in' your picks...
I have just been informed that some very nice coaches from other keeper leagues that they would be happy to take lists from us in case people are worried about 'collusion' after lists have been given. This could be very beneficial to us as the super draft can go ahead without any issues of lists being given

I will not need to provide a list as I have stated before about my phone being joined to my hand

That's one for Julius Sumner-Miller to figure out I have the same issue Chop, I have however learnt to hold fire on hitting submit again as the post will eventually go through. I find this most frustrating when posting my draft selection as I want to get it online as fast as possible so others can pick! I've even noticed that if I open another tab and go the the Banter or Draft thread my post is there even though the tab where I typed my reply has not updated yet, strange!
any danger mick? come on my reverse psychology worked last time! this is why i want to decrease the auto vote time. havent checked the time stamp but its been at least 7-8 hours surely
yawn! must say I was encouraged by the number of picks earlier today only to fall flat during the afternoon & evening! was hoping for 2 picks today!!my 2 cents worth 12 hour time limit. Surely checking 2 x a day isn't too hard. TGIF too hot this week.

The Commish has even PM'd me his pick so if Micjk did select we could keep going after that. I'll PM Mick as a reminder.
i try not to post on a forum after a few cans but its fuckin shiiiiiit when we r waiting this long. it doesnt botger me personally as ive gotta wait for every man and his dog to have two picks cause of the serpentine draft, but its shit on other peoples behalfs. anyway on a more positive note the cricket.... oh wait, we're about to fuckin lose that too!
Boys I know today's been disappointing but let's keep things in perspective and not make knee-jerk decisions. We've got 8 weeks to the start of the season and before things ground to a halt today at 1.30 we were on track to be finished in 3 weeks. That leaves 5 weeks for trading and other stuff!!! I get that picking players is fun but what's the rush? Surely everyone's got stuff goin on in their life other than this draft to occupy their time.

[span style='font-size: 16px;]+1 [span style='font-size: 16px;]We've got plenty of time and besides I'm enjoying the pace of the draft. Makes us anticipate and appreciate every pick rather than tearing through it to be finished in a few hours.

Long week at work in ridiculous heat, then straight home for Daddy duties while Mummy got her hair did - which I'm sure most of you blokes know, can be a lengthy process. Dealing with a hot, tired, crying baby in 40+ degree heat isn't really ideal conditions to jump online, research and make a selection in a keeper / dynasty format to say the least. Finally got a chance now obviously and am reasonably happy with the Matty Cokes, I mean Dokes, I mean Stokes pick. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CCv6ks...
I've been pretty time poor the last few weeks but will make some time to throw my 2 cents in on recent debates FWIW over the weekend + respond to PM's. Cheers
