Walesy has given the all clear to use the chat for a superdraft, so, I say we should have it on Saturday arvo. Any objections? Lists will need to be sent if unavailable, hopefully one of the people from another league is around and willing to take those lists.

I'm doing a few things Saturday, but my phones is always on me so I'm defiantly available to duck off from whatever I'm doing for a few sneaky picks!

Lets make JPK's dream come true with the 4 picks in day..

I too have had issues getting on to the chat in the past - have raised it with Walsey but never able to sort. I will be around Sat arvo to around 5 so would be able to pick should the chat be working. We are howevertrekking pretty well and due to finish the draft in approx afortnight which gives loads of time for some complex trading.

Lets make JPK's dream come true with the 4 picks in day.. Haha, that would be incredible. Walesy has said that the chat should work, if it doesn't, we can revert to the good ol forum

I've got a wedding on Saturday, so no can do. Am I missing something here? I thought that a few slow days aside, the pace of the draft had picked up and we were well ahead of our 'required run rate'. Why the need for this Superdraft?

I tend to agree. Except for a few slow days, I reckon we've been motoring. Mick's got a wedding, Tylo has cricket. if it looks like anyone's pick is about to happen, why can't those concerned give their picks to someone to put on for them. Others, myself included, have done it before and it seemed to work out ok. Then there's no need for The Commish to bust a gut trying to find a time suitable to everyone. Just sayin...

I agree with choppers... We are well ahead of the curve, most teams are complete and just filling now.

maybe wait another 7 hours and 57 minutes and youll get it? I let the first jab slide by but after another it seems like its time to nip this shit in the bud. Just to clarify and out of respect for everyone in this group, I wasn't 'taking the piss' as you put it with my last minute pick the other day. I have this thing called a life (wife, kid, work, play, etc.) which takes priority over the timing of my picks. I'm sure everyone involved here (myself included) takes ORFFU too seriously - they just have differing amounts of time available depending on the type of work / study they do, homelife, family, relationships, sport, hobbies, etc. I understand it must be frustrating having 2 picks in a row at the tail and start of each round then having an extended wait. That is just the luck of the draw - I'd happily swap positions with you but that wouldn't work. It seems like you need to just relax and learn some patience. I got involved in ORFFU for a bit of fun - not to read snide remarks from some try hard keyboard warrior. Cheers to all who have voiced similar opininons publicly and/or privately. How about rather than whinging that certain aspects aren't exactly as we would like them, we just enjoy the whole process as it happens Settle down cocko. if it takes me being the 'bad guy' for you to actually post something then so be it. ill take one for the team. if you cant recognise a tongue when its firmly planted in a cheek then no dramas, however you dont really need to try and insult me. If thats the way you deal with things in life then I respect that and wish you good luck. I adopt a different philosophy and attempt not to advise people on what they need to do, learn or how hard they try. If youd like to find out how to do this I invite you to continue this discussion over pm so as not to hijack a draft banter thread. If you would like to know about my personal situation, as youve kindly shared yours above, I also invite you to enquire via pm. Lastly, as I have offered to another member previously, if you'd like to continue to insult or abuse me then i'll happily pm you my home address and we can take care of it face to face. hugs and kisses Haha. Cocko!? WTF!? Genius!! May I suggest it is you Sir who have made yourself appear the 'Cocko'. This is clearly just a difference of opinion / personality clash type situation - no need to get your knickers in a knot! I thought I kept it pretty civil with the previous posts and don't see any insults in there. An insult would be something along the lines of 'Cocko' I do appreciate your gracious offer to come over for a visit but will politely decline. I'm happy to keep our friendly rivalry on the virtual field.I'm a lover not a fighter anyway and besides, I wouldn't want to be the one responsible for damaging your potential modeling income. No further thread hijacking necessary.Rd 4 should be a doozy!!PM on the way ps. A couple of nice selections earlier today - both very high on my list ya bastard ;D

Yeah, I have cricket on Saturday too. If you guys are 100% confirming there's a draft on Saturday, just announce it so we can actually send picks through. Nothing worse than miscommunication!

Seems like this Saturday is a bad time for a few of us can we either can the idea (is it even necessary?) or reschedule?

Once again I agree with Mick, wow! can't believe I just said that, lol!.... we don't really need a Super Draft day, we just need people to check in to the site daily, and if they know they'll probably be unavailable, then give your picks to someone who'll be online.....SIMPLE!..... ........I know, easy for me to say, I'm an ole retired fart with plenty of time on my hands... but honestly people, if you're gonna be out of town or whatever, give your selections to someone, and don't hold everyone else up.....especially those who can get online......just sayin' A bit of consideration goes a long way..............

Damn you Holky, Beau was my next pick. He's my favourite player in the game and was keen to have him on my treatment table. Might have to see what you want for him when I've finalised my list.

Well, it's worth a look at the old spreadsheet. I see you've got some good cards in your hand already, might be looking at a trade here :) Buddy seems to like the beach at Sydney. He might like other NSW beaches.
