You think wrong champ. Simply sacrificing sleep to research Too Seriously before making my final selection of this first stage of the draft. I'll look forward to Lisle kicking 6 of the best against Banchang ;D He'd get my vote for player of the week for that :)

Just had a peruse over the fixtures. Here's a timeline of upcoming events. The draft starts when we discussed it starting. It gives a chance to look at NAB Challenge players (2 weeks actually), and enough time to get through all 108 selections in 12 days maximum (only 9 picks per day, but preferably faster). Wednesday, 12th Feb - NAB Challenge starts Wednesday, 26th Feb - Round 2 ORFFU Draft begins Friday, 28th Feb - All ORFFU pre-season trading ends Saturday, 1st March - NAB Challenge ends Sunday, 2nd March - Practice matches begin Wednesday, 5th March - Predicted time for NAB Challenge SC scores to be released Saturday, 8th March - Practice matches end Monday, 10th March - ORFFU Teams must be finalised Friday, 14th March - AFL Season starts Insider will begin the draft. Teams will need to be finished trading just after the start of the draft. You can draft unevenly, and maybe end up needing 8 players to be drafted in the draft (the order will continue and those with complete teams will pass) or maybe you need just 4, which will mean you will pass on any picks after those. In simplified form, you keep drafting until you have 26 players, then your done. Just so everyone is clear, this is what is happening, not what is proposed
Would have preferred to be able to 'hoard' and then trade and cull players. This is what I had been banking on, and what I expected when I first read the culling rules. But the commish has made a decision, and I'll respect that.

Any particular time that the draft has to commence on Wednesday? Just confirming before we run into any deadline dramas. Getting keen to kick things off again!

Seeing as I have then #2 pick, I'm also actually quite keen to know when we're getting started. Insider??? Also, my phone is playing up, and I'm not getting emails properly. Can someone please PM me if I'm getting close to missing my pick.

The draft starts on Wednesday. There's not much point setting a time frame, as it will be as soon as insider gets online, so maybe ask him when he will begin the draft

I imagine 8am EDST would be reasonable considering that has been the start of 'active' draft times during the first draft?

Guys, being a WA boy and having #2 pick, I'm going to ask to not be penalised first up, quite simply because 8am Eastern is 5am for me. If Insider takes his pick bang on time then I'm going to be getting ready for work, then driving to work, and I really wont have time to make a selection until about 7am local.

How long will the window be for this draft? I propose we have the same 8am to midnight draft window with a 4 hour time limit, this will ensure a minimum of 4 picks are taken each day (I know that's not enough) and it will force us all to be prepared for our selections.

The 8 hour limit seemed to be working pretty well. We were getting thru about 10-12 picks a day, which is plenty to be finished within a good time frame. Don't understand why we would be looking to penalise people who have trouble getting on at work.

I'm not looking to penalise anyone, I just don't think we have the time to wait 8hrs between picks. I know it won't happen every time but if it happens on a few occasions it may prove costly. The only other option is we lock in a super draft day.

Same rules as last draft - 8 hours limit, no penalties enforced between 12-6 in the morning. If we need to be quicker the time will be decreased to around 4 hours. I'm all for a superdraft day, just didn't think anyone else was

Considering 90 minutes was the longest i ever kept people waiting for my pick im not sure why ya'll wanted a time to be put on it, but anyway its a moot point now because my pick is posted. catch ya in 36 picks time aka about 12 days while every other prick holds things up enjoy

Tomster, can you confirm the movement in draft picks below:

    Eden has draft pick 22
    Eden has draft pick 80
Cow Bay's last draft pick is 86 (Rnd 25) as he traded in 3 players for 2 (no draft pick 95)
Pakenham gets draft pick 109 as he trade in 2 players for 3
