ok have 16 teams represented, only 12 prems but pretty happy with the line up, i like the 1/3 ruck set up this year so here goes...DEF: B. Goddard, B. Deledio, H. Shaw, G. Johncock, B. Lake, M. Clarke, L. Spurr (S. Morris, B. Smedts) MID: S. Pendlebury, G. Ablett jnr, M. Murphy, J. Selwood, D. Shiel, E. Kavanagh (J. McDonald, T. Mitchell) RUC: A. Sandilands, J. Giles (S. Rowe, O. Stephenson) FWD: L. Franklin, D. Martin, T. Cloke, L. Adams, A. Didak, D. Pfeiffer, A. Saad (T. Walsh, D. Zorko) CASH LEFT: $59,600 bit of cash for room to move at the start if i need to make any changes before rd 3
Looks like a ok team patash, Personally i wont be going sandi this year i think you have better and cheaper options this year like leuenberger i think sandi will still go ok but he will start trending down now in my opinion. Also im not sure about pendlebury he's price will drop a bit in the first few rounds i read somewhere on here he has to get an average of about 150/140 to keep his price so ill get him a bit later.
Yo Knuckels, as a general rule players need to score their 2011 average over the first 3 rounds (plus a little extra to account for all the rookies who will outscore their "average") to break even ie. stay the same price.
This might just be me but there are appears to be 2 magic numbers 1 for original prices and another for breakeven. Players are priced using a higher magic number, to keep the total cash even before a lot of rookies increase in price. This year the one for original price was about 4863 and the one for prices/breakevens throughout the season was 4444.
Cool thanks for that guys that gives me a bit of help determining who to get for the first few rounds.
Yo SCSS, the magic number changes every round after R3. Most likely you'll see it go down, because Rookies will outscore their BE more than other established players will go under theirs. You're also most likely to see the biggest drop in the MN after R3, as most rookies are played early.
ok here is my first complete team DEF: Goddard, Delidio, Scotland, Lake, Bower, M. Clarke, T. Gillies, B. Ellis, B Smedts. MID: G abblett, M. Murphy, M. Barlow, Beams, Hayes, T mitchel, L brown, S reid(gws) RUK: Natinnui, Rowe, Stephenson, Giles FWD: Franklin, Lewis, Goodes, Pavlich, J brown, Porplyzia, t Walsh, zorko, Saad Thoughts so far?
Thanks Hornsy I just assumed that there were 2 seperate MN. I just checked it and it only changes slightly after about round 6.
yeah hayes is definatly one that is not a lock i was hoping that he would be cheaper than he is. i'm thinking may swap hime for K. Jack id still have $70k left also

I also think there are better rookie options than Mohr, Morabito and Dick. Better options BACKS: Darley, Ellis, Marty Clarke. MIDS: Caddy, D Shiels, Coniglio FWDS: Cripps, Lamb, Sahad, Pfeifer, Treloar
Thanks I will take a good look at the rookies come nab cup/challenge games. Just think Morabito is ready to fire and at that price cant resist.
What are the thoughts on Selwood? Priced at just over 600K, will his stocks continue to rise or are there more consistant/better options out there for roughly the same coin?
Selwood is a good option, he should be in the top 7 or 8 players. Since he's underpriced should be a good player to start in your team.
I think selwood is a fairly solid pick imo although i have not picked him i had him picked but im thinking of putting sewell in to spend the coin else where. What's peoples thought's of matthew arnot is he a good pick? It's either him or docherty i cant decide. I may be able to change things a little to fit both in but i kind of like the way the other rookies are looking at this point of time.
