Clearly too busy winning to pay attention to his team page. .
We are just trying to fly under the radar Terry. The form has been a little scratchy over the last couple of weeks so we have been keeping our heads down. We expect a good contest with your mob this week and just hope we can do enough to keep things rolling on for another week.

"scratchy", "keeping our heads down", "fly" under the radar, "keep things (eggs) rolling". Beginning to get the picture here. .
Everyone associated with the Foul Bay Chickens Football Club are extremely disappointed with the actions of Tom Liberatore who was found unconscious in the early hours of the morning in possession of illicit drugs. The football club has a zero tolerance policy to such matters and have suspended Liberatore for the remainder of the season. Upon completion of the season there will be further review into the contract of Liberatore and his future at Foul Bay. At the present time we are focused on winning the innaugural ORFFA premiership, but needless to say we take a dim view to such selfish behaviour and Tom has betrayed the trust of his teammates, the club and our supporters. If the club feels that this Breach of trust can not be repaired we will entertain offers from other clubs. Foul Bay again stresses that this behavior is not common place across the club. The recruiting staff carefully and intentionally selected players of the likes of Pavlich, Tuck, Sewell and Kelly who are hard working, no frills footballers and have supplemented this with similarly minded young talent like Selwood, Dangerfield, Trengove and we thought Liberatore. We remain confident that the club will be bigger than the individual and the rest of the club will all work together to deliver the club the premiership that we have all worked so hard for.
Need to keep big brother away from your players. Has reached epidemic proportions on Sarah Island. Soooooooooo. Sounds like you are amenable to a trade for young wayward Tom?
I am amenable to a trade of almost everyone on my list given the right price. Would consider only four players untouchable and Libba has never been on this list. The offers that one would make to me will obviously need to be fair and reasonable but all reasonable offers will be considered. Will also be planning on seeking out teams who have something that tickle my fancy and would be prepared to offer significant pieces of my team to get it done. And Bandit, I thought exactly the same thing as I typed my post haha!
It gives us much pleasure to present the ORFFA Shield, to be held in perpetuity, by our inaugural premiers, the Foul Bay Chickens. On behalf of all the teams in the ORFFA League, congratulations and we all wish you a severe dose of the generals next year. Considerable pain was inflicted upon my wallet to obtain this shield. .
Thanks for the heartfelt congratulations and the shield. Don't have a spot for it yet in the club rooms, but I'll get on that after I clean up from the two weeks of Mad Monday celebrations. The game never stops, so I will post here my list of "untouchables" for the upcoming season. As I have stated a number of times previously, I am more than keen to entertain any serious offers for trade as I believe that I have a number of players that have proven their worth from a scoring perspective over the year. While I feel that my team is going to be very competitive for a long time to come, if the deal is right.... Otherwise I'll just go about my business....the business of winning. Untouchables: *Patrick Dangerfield *Joel Selwood *Shane Mumford *Jarryd Roughead Going to have to pay overs for: *Matthew Pavlich Make me a serious offer and I will definitely consider it: Def: Michael Johnson, Greg Broughton, Scott McMahon, Chris Yarran, Jarrad Rivers, Joel McDonald, Ashley Smith Mids: Shane Tuck, James Kelly, Brad Sewell, Tom Liberatore, Danyle Pearce, Jack Trengove, James Polkinghorne Ruck: Mark Seaby Fwd: Jay Schulz, Sam Wright, Jeff Garlett, Matthew Stokes, Josh J Kennedy I know, I know, the B&F winner Shane Tuck is not untouchable. Has the Chief lost his marbles??? Don't worry, he (and a few others) won't come cheap, but just wanted to point out that if the offer is reasonable I will look seriously at it. All you have to do is ask. Where else is a 115 point average and proven match winner going to be put on the table??? Or I'll just keep him and watch him churn out 140's every second week.
After watching SuperPav's display on the big stage against the defending champs, I'm pretty much restoring him to the "Untouchable" category. Unless Philosoraptor wants to give me Buddy. Pav is still clearly the second best forward in the game. Terry, you may persuade me with Big Boy Tommy Hawkins, but there might need to be other players involved in the deal.
I would protest yor use of JJ Kennedy and his 84 points if I was a bitter man. You clearly caught me at a week moment...
PRESS RELEASE: It is with great sadness that the Foul Bay Chickens are announcing that it's reigning premiership best and fairest and arguably the club's favourite son, Shane Tuck, has been traded to the Wagga Wagga Wombats. Tuck, along with forward Jay Schulz and defender Jared Rivers will join the Wombats in 2013 in exchange for decorated midfielder Jimmy Bartel, injury prone forward Leigh 'Patch' Adams and rebounding defender Garrick Ibbotson. Club 'Big Cheese' Chief Russell is shattered by the turn of events, but insisted that the deal would be in the best interests of the club in the long term. "We really wanted Tucky to remain at the Chickens and be a one club player. Unfortunately, with salary cap constraints and in the interests of keeping the team together there was always going to be pressure on our list management guys. Understandably, Tucky was after a longer term, bigger money deal and given the season that he had, this was not an unreasonable request. Unfortunately, we weren't able to accommodate him. We know he has a family to feed, so we didn't want to stand in his way in terms of getting a better deal. "At the same time, Jimmy Bartel and Leigh Adams have been two favourites of mine for a long time and we are rapt to have both boys at the club, along with Garrick Ibbotson who we feel can perform a role for us in defence. When asked about Adams' injury history, Chief Russell was quick to put his support behind the player and his own medical staff. "Look, we know he has had a very interrupted career thus far and that his shoulders may be held together by tape and velcro, but we believe we can get him right and he'll have a long and distinguished career for us. There are also concerns that Bartel's career is on the downhill slide as well, a suggestion that the Chief didn't exactly disagree with, but at the same time, didn't want to buy into that much either. "We understand that we are not getting the 120+ scorer that Jimmy was in his Brownlow year of 2007 and we have lost an 115+ scorer in Tucky. We don't expect Jimmy to hit these heights, but he is a big game player and has shown that he can do a consistent job week in week out, much in the mould of a James Kelly and Brad Sewell who we lost to Marble Bar. We are confident he can do a job for us. "We set out over the off season to make our team a little bit younger without sacrificing much in the way of scoring power. We believe we have come some way to achieving that, but we still have some unfinished business both through the trade and the draft. The players understand that, the supporters I'm sure will too. While we are saddened to lose high quality individuals, the club is always bigger than the individual.
I can see the Chief signing a deal with Leukoplast soon... will save a fortune on strapping for Patch!
CR, are you gonna stick by your favorite son Mark Seaby throughout his tough time at the moment? How many games did he play for the Foul Bay seniors this season anyway?
