We've been through this before... We are currently deciding on some dates (after the board elections and before the trade period) where there could be a 4 week (maybe more) 'off season' where there are no expectations on visiting the site, responding to PM's etc. This would give everyone a break and would most likely run around the November/December period. Stay tuned for moredetails.

I may be jumping the gun a bit, but seeing that we have another ghost ship this year and a rule around losing PSD picks for not entering a team for a few weeks do we need to consider expanding the rule to also forfeiting MSD picks?

Probably, yes. I do however think that in the interests of fairness and consistency for all, we shouldn't be making such rule changes during the season.

Fair call...something to remember for our post season discussion
My apologies to the[span style='color: #444444; background-color: #eeeeee;]Serengeti Buffalos but was there adecision madeto the non start of the season in regards to draft picks? As it stands now if[span style='color: #444444; background-color: #eeeeee;]Serengeti Buffalos dont win another game they will end up MSD #1. May seem harsh but all's fair in love and war
Regarding the Buffalos they have only had 2 strikes (non filled team) and therefore no sanctions apply. Regarding the MSD order, per the rule - 6 (e) Mid-Season Draft will happen in the last week of the multi bye rounds (R13). Draft will run in reverse points for order as of the end of R10. This tries to offset for a easy / hard draw.

Our rules as they stand state: (h)Mid-Season Trade Period will commence during the first week of the multi-bye rounds (11, 12 & 13)....... (e) To be eligible for the Mid-Season Draft you must delist players by 7pm EST, Wednesday June 17th, ORFFU lists can be no greater than 26 players Question 1. As Rd10 ends on Mon.8th June and Rd11 commences Friday 12th June, can trading commence after the completion of Rd10, or after the start of Rd11. Question 2. As ORFFU lists can't be greater than 26 players, must delistments occur prior to trading. If the answer is yes, then wouldn't it be better if the date for final delistments was brought forward from 17th June, to before the commencement of trading. If the answer is no, then would I be right to assume we can bring players in during the trading period in excess of 26, as long as we de-list any excess prior to 7pm, 17th June. Answer 1 - We'll need to discuss this, but based on how many inquiries I've fielded already, I'd say we're going to be an impatient bunch this year, so we'll likely start ASAP. Answer 2 - You can trade in allotments such that your team becomes greater than 26 players during the trade period (for example, if you trade out an MSD pick for a player, then you'll end up with 27 on your list for the time being). Lists must be no greater than 26 by the cut-off date, and less than 26 if you wish to participate in the MSD. As with all drafts, each team will continue to select players in their allocated order until they have 26 player on their list. There will be no drafting beyond this (which is also why we separate the trading and drafting periods, otherwise it could get messy!)
