Looking forward to our match up this weekend sNoZ. As a matter of fact, we have a few of your subterranean relatives inhabiting The Pit at the moment... we find they areassistingus with out match tactics
We know you've been busy, distracted even, so we decided to offer up a little team song to inspire the Hoppers who are doing it a bit hard at the moment: 'There's a track winding back up the middle of her crack Along the road to Gundagai Where the blue gums are growin' and the Murrumbidgee's flowin' Beneath the sunny sky There the mighty Grasshoppers will be waitin' for me And the mates of my childhood once more I shall see Then no more will I roam when I'm headin' straight for home Along the road to Gundagai' [span style='font-size: 10px; color: #000000;]Apologies to Slim, but that's how we always sang it in primary school.

Don't believe all that TV BS about Snickers.
In the hopes of resurrecting our season, the Hoppers have announced half time entertainment will be provided free of charge for every home game in the 2nd half of the season, starting with TiB's mob this weekend.............. /Portals/0/User%20Images/home%20made%20fireworks.jpg

The 2015 Hoppers have been training in New Jersey since early December in -5 degree weather. Newcomers Billings & Honeychurch have been surprised at the alcohol consumption being demanded but have stepped up to the plate over the Xmas period. Losing Mr Hayes to retirement is the only official 'cut' so far, but over the next 4-6 weeks 4 more Hoppers will be joining him. SC positions weren't exactly friendly, having lost 5 dpp's and Sammy Mitchellmoving to the Mids only; this leaves the Defenders very light. On the flip side, the Mids & Fwds are now bloody strong - and the Ruck line remains solid. With the trade period coming up in Feb, the Hoppers will entertain all offers with not one player off the table. Draft picks are my priority!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!..................feel free to talk to me over the next month in anticipation of deals Def - 7 Suckling / Stratton / Webster / Mullett / Frost / Dan Talia / B Goodes Mids - 10 Sam Mitchell / Rocky / Curnow / Neale / O'Rourke / Morabito / Taylor Adams F/M / J Lyons F/M / Dwyer / Hayes* retired Ruck - 3 Sandi / Witts / Griffin Fwd - 9 Billings / JMartin / Lewy Taylor / Stringer / Honeychurch / Karnezis / Cam McCarthy / Charlie Cameron / Markworth

When ru gonna post the list of players that we might be interested in?
Snoz- the forwardline is really taking shape. If Markworth comes through that'll be another good young option.
