Patrick Cripps: Even though I HATE his team, the kid will be something special in a few years. Nathan Freeman: The much hyped Pie; we will see if my one eye goes blind. Gave up a defensive gem in Webster to get him. Trent Dumont: Taxi man......please dude, don't hail a cab. Project player. FWD Jack Billings: Paid overs with the #1 pick + the budding star in Billy Hartung. I rate Billings above Dunstan and have high hopes of a Lenny Hayes type career. Mitch Honeychurch: Took a flyer on this young pup, jury well & truly out so far but NAB form very good. (Special mention to Sunshine McCarthy.....has sat on the squad for a year with no fanfare or games.....but watch out) RCK: Brodie Grundy: The Pies have a 1-2 punch in the Ruck. Anthony Morabito - The fragile buggerwore thin. Sam Dwyer - Love the guy, but is just a depth player at the Pies. Jack Frost - Great defender after only one season, but SC irrelevant Brett Goodes - Future coach of the Western Bulldogs Dan Markworth - What's to say, just a bloody shame. Draft Picks - this is where it gets fun............. Went into the2015 PSDwith #37 as my first pick, traded 4 picks into the top 35: 10-15-31-33-55 // 91-107. But I got bored & kept going................. Now I have 3.10.11.......three first round picks.........+ 48/91/107.......well, no one cares about those anyway. **** We shallsee what unfolds.............it's been a fun ride. I went to the VFL on the weekend and saw Scharenberg play. He looked good. Had a couple of silly turnovers, but he moved well and looked a class above at times. I reckon you've done well to sway him away from Gariwerd.

Snoz, I wonder if you'll be able to be patient for 5 years? Your team will be so awesome at that time.

Is INJ now a recognised position in ORFFA and SC SnOz? How many INJ does each side need to field each week? I am not sure I will waste an emergency on that particular line.

The Hoppers have been somewhat active this Pre Season, but certainly not on par with previous trade fests.....

    * We bid farewell to Mitch Honeychurch FWD & Adam Oxley MID - who take up residence with the Spelunkers.
    * Cam Sunshine McCarthy moves to the Packers in a trade we really didn't want to do, but team balance came into play.
    * We have upgraded our PSD Draft Picks from: 1-19-37-55 to now 1-19-31-37 & 43
    * With our list at 26, we still need to delist at least two guys.......

    DEFENSE (7)
Stratton, Mullett, WhiteX D/F, Shaz, JKolo, JMarsh & H Grundy

    MIDDLE (9)
Rocky, Neale, E Curnow, Cripps, JOR, Freeman, Brayshaw F/M, Dumont & T Adams

    FORWARD (8)
Stringer, Billings, J Martin, Cameron, McCartin, Amon F/M, Jedi F/M & Cockatoo

    RUCK (2)
    Grundy & Witts F/R

This years draft pool looks like being the strongest ever, not so much from the NAB draft but from the combination of that draft and the likely strength of the delisted guys. Any two above would fit in many of our squads.

@snoz - Black Swamp is travelling south to play Jan Juc in the ORFFF this weekend.

We note your mob will be travelling back from the Whitsundays this week but we would be keen to break up the trip and it would be handy if we can arrange for a "low intensity" Thursday night practice match with the Hoppers if you are back in time - 7-8pm (Gundagai time) would suit us as we aim to get to Jan Juc fairly early on the Friday.

Let us know if you are interested - we can return the favour if you have any further QLD away trips this season or next.

    Cheers TTH
