so we had 12, 3 confirmed out and 2 not confirmed gives us 7, one (TTH) in gives us 8. I think if we have 10 teams we can drop the other two teams into the draft pool and feed on thier carcasses, but less than that and we probably pull up stumps.
If you are planning on dropping 2 teams would it be reasonable for me to pick the best of the 3 vacant sides ?
Not sure how it will play yet mate, if the last two to notify aren't keen we ware possibly looking at some kind of redraft if we go ahead with 8. If so starting with a squad would make sense and simplify the "superdraft"
Need to hear from @JC and @bgt2110 , once we know if they are in or out we'll be able to settle on an approach. Obviously if any one else from one of the ORF leagues would like to jump on board let us know in here, there aren't many rules but those that exist are around this sub-forum somewhere. If we go down the route of re-assigning complete squads they'll be able to be chosen in the same order the new coaches sign up in, just for clarity.
Not particularly fussed either way, tbh. If you need me to make it even numbers, I'll go around again. If not, no worries.

since you asked, post in one of the other blogs to try to get 2 more coaches by the end of JLT3 (5th march), then if going with less teams is it worth considering increasing team and squad size by approximately 15% (ie an extra midfielder or Interchange player onfield and extra unused, or slightly more whether making changes or otherwise if dropping 2 teams a quick 1 or 2 round mini draft in reverse 2016 ladder order followed by culling as per 2016 preseason and then the 2017 PSD also in reverse 2016 ladder order would seem to be the logical option to me
Ta mate Will drop something into each of the ORF forums, have a strong preference to keep it in the family.. We currently have to cull the squads to 12 keepers pre draft (out of 15), if we do absorb two teams maybe we just change that to 10 and draft per normal, which is reverse draft order? Would love to fill the vacancies instead though
@Len - After a quick 5 minute review I will nominate TopMeUpGillon - formerly managed by ThatKIGuy - as the squad I wish to take the reins of for 2017 and beyond. I assume admins or @walesy can set me up to manage the squad on TS for the draft and Trading period. Now to familiarise myself with squad needs and the FA list during the wait between my early and late picks in the ORFFF draft.
