I'd pick the Pies line out of those listed

I rode my luck with North last week where they just covered the line against Melbourne. My only concern about North is they tend not to smash the weaker teams by more than 10 goals (except for GWS).

I think I will ride my luck with GWS and hope Port don't win by more than 50pts. I think that GWS can at least kick 10 goals against Port which would mean that Port would have to kick more than 18 goals to beat the line. Who knows which Port Adelaide team will turn up tomorrow? If it is the same team as last week, we will lose to the Giants.

Also the line has moved from +50.5 to +47.5 for the Giants which makes me feel a bit more comfortable as the weight of the punter's money is forcing that line change.

Im a bombers supporter, and it is Jobe's 150.

What I am saying is the Crows will win by 10 goals plus.

    Get on the Crows

Still a way to go Fazz.

So far this round the following has happened.

13 people got knocked out last night for picking the Hawks at the line

28 people will get knocked out if Port don't win by more than 50 pts (half time at the moment)

I am hoping the Dogs hold on and cover the line of +49.5 which would mean another 16 people are knocked out.

    Thanks Fez,

Another 26 people got knocked out last night when Collingwood did not cover the line of -16.5

70 people left in the comp

    for today's games:

Dees/Suns - 5 people have picked the Dees to win by more than 21.5, 2 people have picked the Suns to get within 21.5

Blues/Swans - 16 people have picked Swans to win by more than 17.5, no one has picked the Blues to get within the line

Crows/Bombers - 6 people have picked Crows to win by more than 37.5, 5 people have picked the Bombers to get within 37.5

So at worst by the end of this round, there will be 63 people left in the comp.

Here's hoping the Blues drag the Swans down to their level!!!

Odds looking better by the day Steve - I think you've got the whole TS community cheering in the stands as you battle through the remaining weeks of the comp :D

Go Steve; the TS community are all sitting in the grandstand but sorry we've had a few beers. If you punt Rehnny's Power to beat the Hawks next week you could finish this comp up very quickly !

Hawks will by more than 150 pts next week. Primus might be gone but we still have the same old spuds playing for us. It is not going to change overnight but this is the first step that needed to be taken.

After today's results, there are 62 people left in the comp.

I was wrong saying that there were 62 people left in the comp. I just logged in and there are only 59 people left.

The lines have just come out for this week's games. They are as follows

    West Coast 0.5
    Saints -48.5
    Crows -17.5
    Suns -15.5
    Blues -29.5
    Swans -12.5
    Hawks -80.5
    Tigers -35.5
    Kangas -8.5

Let me know what your thoughts are on this games this week?

Initial thoughts are either Crows -17.5, Lions at +29.5 against Carlton or the Hawks at -80.5.

I think Walesy is going to post a thread on the main page in the next day or so about my exploits in this comp.

It is getting very nerve racking now!!!

  17. I'd personally either go the Blues or the Hawks, but I got knocked out of this comp ages ago

I agree that Kangas minus a piddly 8 points vs a depleted Bombers seems the best best.
