Whilst it may have seemed the Chinchilla Chumps have been quiet over the off season, not satisfied with our failure to go deep into the finals last year not wanting leave any stone unturned in our pursuit of ORFFF premiership glory we have in fact been engaged in a wide ranging review and reform of all aspects of our organisation . We would like to particularly note with thanks the Chinchilla community who so wholeheartedly supported us not just on game day and around the club but by welcoming us so generously into their community. It is therefore with a touch of sadness but mainly optimism for the future that we are announcing today our move from the township of Chinchilla to the somewhat cooler climate of Macquarie Island. This move also coincides with a re-branding of our club which will be now known as the Macquarie Island Whales. Whilst many things are changing the club is pleased to be staying in the eastern part of Australia and whilst some list changes are inevitable look forward to another strong season with the majority of our playing list who have all expressed excitement about the changes they are seeing around the club.
"He tasks me! That whale, he tasks me!" Fantastic shield, great to see @Darran getting into the spirit of too serious.
