    Emergency meetings are schedule for this week between the AFL coaches association and the Marble Bar management, 12 players out of 28 make the AFL R1 teams list. Whilst MB conceded this is a risk when focussing on young players, there have been a series of statements regarding the AFL selection panels abilities to distinguish their arse from their elbow, MB intends to ship diagrammatic charts to assist with next week's selections. If it's any consolation, I don't think it would have mattered if you had all 28 available against me this week. I think I have churned out a score in the 1500s against you. At least it will only get better for you in terms of scoring, I think I might be on the downhill after Round 1.

Cheers mate, you certainly nailed it :) Some very frustrating outs for me, Bock was supposed be fit R1, Tomlinson was supposed be selected (best 22 in most other teams), I expected Sewell, Young and Bruce to play, Steven, Bellchambers & Redden would be nice with two legs as well.. I've not done any checks but my 982 odd for 12 would have been 1200 to 1250 at full strength and still not close... As I've said elsewhere I disagree with IK as favs and firmly believe your chooks are still the bunny being chased. Rounds 12 - 23 the Misfits will be firing, the right number of games into the kids and things will pop, 2015 will be the year of The Misfit ;)

Len, that is very unlucky to have three ruckman on your list with AFL experience all injured. During last weekend'smatch against Foul Bay at least one Marble Bar supporter in the crowdwas overheard saying to a fellow supporter. 'Surely Marble Bar has to investigate why so many players are getting injured, preventing them from fielding a full 15 man team. I think it has got something to do withplayers interpretating the nickname as Mis-fit, and ithas creeped into the subconscious of players that they are not expected to be fit, contributing to the club's mounting injury toll.'

Dean you must have some very good inside knowledge, or hyperactive ESP... At an emergency Misfits board meeting last night our fitness coach Jack Daniels had his contract torn up and was placed on a bus to Kununurra. The Misfit's new fitness coach has been hired and is already showing the guys what good form looks like, we expect a lift in not only fitness, but morale under our new Miss Fitness.. /Portals/0/Users/017/57/3857/personal%20fitness%20trainer_full.jpeg' style='width: 583px; height: 768px;

    Marble Bar selection committee are currently considering some novel approaches to deal with the fact that all three Ruckmen are injured for this weeks game. Selecting short stoppage specialists with sharp teeth is a current favourite..

    Best & Fairest votes for round 3 vs Mt Beauty. Hard to be positive when nailed by 300 points, but there were some very encouraging signs at the Bar this week. 5 Luke Dunstan - R1 Rising Star Nominee 4 Callan Ward - Captain Courageous 3 Josh Kelly - R3 Rising Star Nominee 2 Sam Day - Starting to deliver on preseason hopes 1 Curtly Hampton - WTF Curtly showing why he is a GWS fan favourite (when not in wtf mode)
    Leaderboard: 14 Ward 9 Dunstan 6 Hampton 3 Ryder, Hombsch, Smith, Kelly 2 Terlich, Day 1 Whitfield

    Marble Bar's current thinking on a 'Best' team. Injuries and selection mysteries affecting some calls. Def: Day, Hampton, Terlich, Hombsch - Bruce/Darley/Young/Pears Mid: Ward, Whitfield, Steven, Kelly - Stanley/Ross/Arnot/Boston Ruck: Ryder - Redden Fwd: Smith, Bellchambers, Cameron, Paparone - Tomlinson/Jaksch/Bock IC: Dunstan, Sewell - Williams Plenty there to look forward to.

    Has anyone figured out why Tomlinson is not getting a game? Plenty of reasons being bandied about Chris, but none official. Partially, there is an embarrassment of riches affecting game time for Williams, Boyd, Barrett, Tomlinson, Hoskin-Elliot, O'Rourke and a few others who would be playing if in some other squads. Addison and Lamb were brought in to give experience up front, Addison probably at Tomlinson's expense, but he was also playing when Patton wasn't and it could be argued he is a better swap for him. With Devon Smith gone for a week for being a fool Tomlinson has a good chance of coming in, he is playing better than Boyd atm and is a much more mobile fwd, ie more of a match for the guy missing. It's bitten me a bit tbh, I expected them to have lost at least 2 or 3 more of the guys I am holding, but in a great sign for the club they are re-signing instead, buggers my team a bit though when I have guys playing for the same spot.
