Round 8 vs Venus Bay Marble Bar was put into an extremely rare position, 15 playing players, 4 playing reserves and 2 playing 'backups'. Never having been there before we screwed it up and named some very low scores, whilst leaving some high ones benched, fortunately for us Venus bay had a similar score outcome and we squeaked in our third win...The primary lesson from R7 YOU HAVE TO PLAY”, clearly sank in. Best & Fairest votes for round 8 5 Callan Ward - Reported to be able to turn water into wine. [span style='font-size: 12px; line-height: 18px; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;]4 Devon Smith - Delivering 2 weeks in a row 3 Lachie Whitfield - Welcome back gun 2 Cameron Shenton - Raised eyebrows with his early selection, but showing why he was rated so highly 1 Macro Paparone - Continues to be a surprise packet for the Misfits up fwd. Bandit wrote: nCheese starting to confirm my fear.... He is certainly exceeding my expectations mate, I was fully prepared for a 2 year wait on him... If you add the two trades together, given Redden was a zero it's a lot closer to even, but I think I 'stole' one for sure... Hopefully Nichols gets back on the park for you sooner than later
Oh I think it's a break even at worst for me... but I drafted the guy (amid raised eyebrows and some minor abuse) because I think he may actually go big... time will tell. Speaking of going big... Bontempelli got me a tad excited on Sunday

If it is, you can move said recent messages to the archive and the next most recent messages will become available. Hopefully that helps.

As you all know the Misfits are in Y2 of a rebuild, the scope of that is shown in the table below, of the original 26 players drafted, we still hold only 6.
