Would not like to see more than a maximum of 10 keepers per squad and would probably support a lower number. Friday 11 March is good for me as draft day. Am currently selected as first pick but surely that should be based on reverse of finishing order and should not be snake.
Wow that was difficult getting into the league but i'm in now and looking forward to the season. Not sure if this was answered earlier but is it possible to see your team from last year ? The only way i could get back into the league was to create a new log in / profile with a different email address from last year. Yep, if you go to the "Predraft" tab, your current lineup will be on the left labelled my keepers or something similar
Reverse ladder makes sense, I can manually adjust the order so wouldn't be hard to do if most people agree with the idea, otherwise it's hitting the randomise button.

Tylo, the player list is suggesting you have delisted Fyfe? Do you have your squad of 15 players listed as keepers still? If deliberate, well the random generator will be rerun until I have pick one
When I go to pre-draft it has my keeper team on the left showing all of my 15 players including Fyfe. Whilst the back was a bit of a worry there for a while you can all keep your hands off, he's not going anywhere.
Now admittedly there is something not quite right about the way this screenshot is displaying team names, but I can still make out that I own Pendlebury for instance. And that Fyfe is a Free Agent.
I see what you mean. When I go to the players tab, all of my players are listed as free agents. But if I go to the pre-draft tab, I see the above.
Weird, see what happens at draft time, we might post your keepers on a separate "hands off" list at draft time and you can pick them backup at the end if they are still showing that way, I'll see if there is a more elegant solution first
I've set the draft order to be linear and in reverse ladder from R22 last year. Start time is 6pm March 11 Melbourne time. Anyone object to using 10 as the max keeper number? Going on from that the pick interval is set by default to 1 day, we will have 12 days or so to complete 60 odd picks, obviously we wouldn't want too many 24 hour picks We can change it to a single night draft but we did it the lengthy way last time and I think most of us are draft addicts who prefer to savour the process. Hoping that once we set our keepers Tylo's issue is revolved, if not we will just need to pick around them. I'll let this sit for a week, if we don't get any objections that will be the setup, again discussion welcome.
Personally I would prefer the max keeper number to be 12-13. It's hard to invest in young players for the future if you've gotta cull 1/3 of your list.
I'm happy with 10 keepers. Natural attrition will probably see us lose 1-2 anyway (unless you have gone with extreme youth). Will we have a trade period before the draft?
It's definitely a topic I'd like people's thoughts on, tbh I am perfectly fine with voluntary, habitual drafters will delist to take part, those that don't will miss out on the elite draft picks and the "next big things".. I would be looking at between 4 and 6 dropped from my list if it was pure choice
Don't see why not mate, probably need to nail the delist approach first so we know how many we are holding.
Looking at the site we would have to "manufacture" it, nothing can take place until the draft is concluded, suggest we leave trading until then for simplicities sake?
