Southern Cross and Cow Bay continue their tradition of trading during the mid-season break. Cow Bay parts with: Colin Garland Ararat's 1st round MSD pick Southern Cross gives up: Blake Acres King Island's 2nd round MSD pick

Assuming we can auction players... Grant Birchallis again up for AUCTION. We all know Grant is one of the top defenders in the competition and in most sides would be the number one defender. Despite an injury interrupted preseason and recent ankle injury Birchall continues to average 90+ The Bulls are looking for a quality Mid / Ruck / PSD Pick(s) for the lefty. No messing around auction to close Saturday 10pm EST

There's so much interest and money in tipping and fantasy footy these days, that the AFL has to clamp down, and be so much more transparent on injuries, late changes, and general shenanigans by the clubs that ruin it for the fans and the 'customers'.

It's all about big business now heading towards other the USA & Europe with managing information, especially relating to betting.

Sorry to see Newnesy go as he has a big future ahead of him but very excited by the arrival of David Swallow, a potential future captain of the Monarchs.
