Walesy made a great post in one of the training threads about who clubs can upgrade, one of the biggest pots of gold on this site in terms of usefulness: http://tooserious.net/training-repo...long-gold-coast/comment-page-1#comment-113719 As for the LTI list: Essendon - Gumbleton, Prismall Melbourne - Gawn, Spencer North Melbourne - Curran Port Adelaide - Hitchcock Richmond - Kel Moore
A few comments later came this:
Yamumluvsbigcox says: January 16, 2012 at 8:06 pm Upgraded rookie rule is a club can nominate a rookie to be ungraded to play the premiership season and finals if that club has 38 players not including veteran listed players . 5 players were upgraded before round 1 last year under this rule Lower, Curnow, Milne, Newton and miller . Can anyone find out which clubs can upgrade?
Using the list of vets Walesy posted and this outline of Yammums, it could be worked out how many upgrades each team can make. I'll do it later if noone beats me to it.
Forgot all about this. Had an hour on pt on way home from NBL game today and was gonna do it then. Not sure when or if I'll get to it now.
As Princeofmugs said, Hall looked really good, should see him play early. No sign of Kyal Horsely, didn't play - however Bluey said due to his mature body and experience he would get opportunites early....guess we just have to wait to see if he plays next weekend against the hawks, the game will be on FoxFooty.
What's happened to Zorko, Treloar and Docherty? I know there were injuries but has there been any updates are any of them on track for the start of the season?

Quote from teraferma on February 29, 2012, 16:22 Does any one have any thirst on the best two midfield rockie subs??
Bit early to say now. The Magnet, Gibbo are looking good, but both need to be elevated. Wingard played pretty well.
Surely people were looking when Patrick Keane mentioned who could be upgraded without LTI before season: If you don't follow him on twitter you probably should. I hope he gets teams out first as usual and stuff Channel 7. "These clubs can have a nominated rookie upgraded for '12 season, subject to TPP compliance - Adel (1),Carl (2),Melb (1), North (1),Port (1)." - 29/2 "Gold Coast Suns and GWS Giants do not qualify for Nominated Rookies upgraded to senior list, due to their extended Primary Lists." - 29/2
You'd think so wouldn't you. I thought the GWS/GC one (with relation to Cooyou and Horsley) more interesting. Everyone's been really big on Horsely but if he can only get on the list with an LTI occurring, is Guy McKenna going to get a baseball bat out soon?
Well North can effectively elevate two with Curren going on the LTI list last week. Either way it should see Gibson elevated. I guess with Horsely it's going to be a case of 'sit tight and wait for his elevation'. Just one more to add to the watch list.

Really like Kyle but I guess 3 Mature-Agers is a bit greedy? Oh the baseball bat isn't going to be needed, I sense Caddy will be "homesick" again in the coming weeks
With no tv or radio coverage of the saints v bombers and presumably other games, what's a reliable media to get the stats etc from those games pls?
Saints and Bombers game was canceled. There is probably a better site around for the stats etc, but you can find them on the afl site.
