Anyone considering Kerridge from adel. Fwd with Mid MPP. Came from Bendigo in vic and is a ball magnet, should get a go with adelaide?
im considering giving kerridge a run over zorko atm looking forward to this weekend to get another look at him
Can anybody update me on Golds for GWS and Tom Mitchell for Sydney? Is Mitchell injured? Will Golds get a game round 1. I was using Golds as a D/M link. Appreciate any feedback folks

Thanks Guys. Much appreciated. Any word on how long Mitchell is out for? Re the D/M link, if you take out Aylett for GWS, all your other options are lots of $$. I'm loathe to take one of the Carlton boys ( I already have Lids & Goddard) and use a mid field spot that could yield more. But on the other hand if I can save a trade by doing MPP swap to avoid a donut, that trade would come in useful come finals time. What does everybody think?
Just pick players who are likely to play early. You shouldn't need to use mpp early, and it's important that you rookies fatten up quick - so choose best players and sort out mpp links when trading.
Good point. I'm wanting to get all organised from the start. Your advice makes more sense....D'OH !!! Thanks
I thought this thread was about rookies? In fact, that's the second time on this page in this thread that you've posted something compeletly off-topic mate. Please take a bit of care next time.
zorko has a chance to play early now that Harvey is at the Lions, however it is not likely given Voss's inability to play good new rookies. I'll be staying away on him. I'm interested in the few guys that have obviously only been given a chance to play 5 minutes of football, and yet who have reaped huge DT points per minute for those few minutes. Shane Biggs (swans)6minutes for 11 DT, Alex Woodward (hawks)8 minutes for 14 DT, Jackson Merrett (ess) played 10minutes scored 13 DT, Anyone know why these guys have not been played more? I mean if you put a kid on the field, and he gets a kick or more in less than 10 minutes, surely you can give him a proper go?

Little concerning that there are no must-haves in the midfield line this year, bar perhaps Magner. For mine GWS is throwing many curve balls and its hard to establish who will get games and play well. Much harder than say last year when Swallow and Harris were clear standouts. Leaning me to maybe adopt a 4-0-4 structure in the mids, rather than a 3-0-5. At the moment a key factor in picking mid rookies is their mature-age status, as I'm seeing worrying uncertainty from the GWS camp. You may be able to give a rough ranking to the likes of Clifton, Miles, Treloar, Shiel, Hoskin-Elliot, Coniglio plus others but a lot of speculation going on which doesn't sit well with me!
Clifton way infront of the other GWS rookie-priced mids for JS, older body, likely won't get rested/rotated during season, wont get smashed like the kids. Miles-Shiel-Coniglio I would expect to all be rested and miss games throughout the season. I've been 4-0-4 in the MIDs since February.
