NBA Draft Date and Draft Order

    There is now less than 30 days until the season starts. Teams have now assembled for training camp and the preseason games will commence towards the end of this week.





    During the next week you should receive an email asking you to join your respective league. Please accept this invitation as soon as possible.

    The draft for all leagues will be held on Sunday 25th of October at 10pm (AEDST).





    This will give everyone an opportunity to assess the preseason games and take into account which players are injured at the time of the draft.

    If you can't make the live draft, you can set up a pre draft list whereby the system will select the next available player on your list when it is your turn.

    You can also participate in the mock drafts in the ESPN fantasy basketball site to get a feel as to how the draft works.

    In regards to the draft, the following will apply:

    There will be 60 seconds between each pick

    Leading up to the draft, teams will be able to trade picks. I will set up the draft pick order in the ESPN site this weekend.

    For those of you have not played ESPN fantasy basketball, feel free to ask any questions in the comments below and someone will be able to answer your question.

      Update on the leagues.
      Ive sent out all invites for everyone to change leagues etc

      The following coaches have not yet joined their new league:

      Premier League:
      LiQuiD_SiXx

      Division 1:
      Walesy; Fez

      Division 2:
      HEATalicious (I have just sent invite tonight, because I only just found email address)

      Division 3:
      Lano24


      If any of you folks have not received the invite from me, please let me know so that we can work out what has gone wrong.

      Ive also just set up all the draft orders on the site, and set the draft date/time.
      And, as was requested, I have set up the divisions as per the draft orders, as follows: Too: 1,3,5,8,10,12; Serious: 2,4,6,7,9,11.

      We can all trade draft picks now :)

      Thanks Ant for setting up the draft order.

      For anyone in the Premier League, please don't send me any proposals to trade draft picks as I won't be able to access my emails for the next month as I will be overseas.

      I will be there on draft day direct from Orlando.

      I'm looking to move up earlier in the 3rd round. Would like to swap 3rd and 4th round picks and then also give you a pick upgrade later in the draft. Let me know if you're interested :)

      The NBL has started tonight!
      I had no idea haha
      And ive ended up with my NBL DT that i set up as a placeholder when i first set the team, before doing much research at all.
      Although i am pleased that i actually had set up a team at all, I put most players in without much thought.

      Since then, ive watched blitz games, been reading box scores, nbl articles, checking the schedule etc... because i like hoops, yeah, however it would have been good to put it to use to select a decent team.

      Ive ended up with Kevin White from the Hawks!

      just got home from the Melbourne v Illawarra game. Kev White actually did ok - it looks like he is nowhere near my biggest worry.
      I can't believe I stuffed up with my initial team, but it will be fun fixing it up.

      Ive only scored about 320 for week 1.

      How has everyone else gone?

      Looks like 450-500 is about par reading comments on other sites.

      I can't see much on the league site and can't change my team name either. For some reason I've been called Broady Broncos. Are you able to check on the league coach access? Is anyone else experiencing any probs?
