From my reading 5/6 is standard for a 16/17 roster 12 team league. This would allow you to keep for instance your 2 x QB , 2 x RB and 2 x WR (or one TE or one flex etc) I guess the downside is it limits the amount of 'potential stars' you could stockpile in this draft and hold them to wait and see. But the upside is it makes the league more interesting year to year (isnt that the point of keeper) puts more pressure on coaches to choose the right keepers and allows for a more interesting off-season draft. I think 6 is a good number.
Looks like 6 it is, i will wait until tomorrow to change the setting so that the other guys have a chance to respond. Thanks everyone for your feedback. Yep the 6 can be anyone you want, regardless of position.
Phone Number..... Brett.....any chance you can message me your phone number, just in case there are difficulties/confusion tomorrow morning ? s.

Yeah, well done guys, that was nice and quick, the 60 seconds was just right. Pretty happy with my lot, was hoping Newton or Megatron might slip through, but was pretty happy to nab two 'beastly' RB's, and I was relieved Payton was still around for me to grab him in the 3rd round - though I would have taken Romo had he been available. Outside of Gronk and Graham, I figured as long as I got one of the other 'better' TE's (Finley, Hernandez, Witten, Davis) i'd be happy, and after having Finley last year and watching him drop too many passes, I made a last minute call to take Witten. Not overly convinced on my WR's, hoping Nicks has at least an even share of the air balls with Cruz, and Jackson seemed to slide a little so I was happy to get him when I did. Blount was Ok in patches last year, and if the Tampa Bay rookie RB doesn't stand up (Doug Martin), he'll get a fair bit of the time share, whilst most of the rest (outside of the Bears D/ST) are speculative, and hopefully one or two of them turn out to be good contributors - though I am pleased with Tannehill in a Keeper league. Good luck to you all, should be a fun season.
Absolutely stoked to pick up Matt Ryan, he's due for a breakout year and has 2 awesome receivers, took a risk on Peterson but the upside could be massive. Wanted Hernandez in the 6th round but I was happy to pick up Finley. Also Andre Johnson at pick 28 wow, but also has his injury concerns. I recommend everyone update their trading block , especially ones who stuffed up in the draft, and also best part of the game is trading
Was really hoping to get 1 of the top 3 QB's at #6 and my draft strategy was torpedoed when they went 1,2,4 but cant be mad with McCoy the guy is a stud, then was hoping either Graham, Gronk or Vick would be there at 19 was pretty safe one would be ... NOPE... they went 15,16,17 and boned me so refused to reach for another QB or TE at this point so took Charles who is good value. So the first 2 rounds up ended my strategy but I had my 2 RB. Reached for Romo in the 3rd but the Qb's who I rate as big game players were vanishing.. Cruz in the 4th was a solid value pick. Very happy to get Hernandez in the 5th, seen him go as high as 3rd round. Had to reach again for a QB in the 6th, went the keeper selection with Luck, plus he has looked decent in preseason, 3500 yards and 20TD might be a stretch but he looks capable. STOKED to get DeSean in the 7th, he is also undervalued this year should bounce back. Hillis in the 8th gives me both KC backs and all their ground yards and TDs. Wilson (rookie RB) for the Giants looks exciting, might be a nice keeper prospect. Then rounded out with value picks for my bench in Heyward-Bey (WR), Jared Cook(TE- didnt need 2 TE but he is an exciting prospect, might be available in trade),Ryan Williams (RB - might start in Ari), Kendall Wright (WR), Time Tebow (QB - ugh but needed a backup), Packers D, Henerey K, and Bilal Powell (RB - who is backup to an underwhelming Shonn Greene in a run heavy O) Overall happy with my draft, would have loved one of the top 3 QB and one of the top 2 TE but didnt pan out that way!
I had DeSean last year, he was nothing but a disappointment As I posted last night I wanted a better back up QB but couldn't get Smith as he shared the bye with one of my starters.
I am reasonably happy with my selections. I picked up Brees who I wanted. I have a feeling that he will have a huge season after all of the crap that has gone down at the Saints during the off season. Probably my 2 RB's are my concern at the moment - Turner and Wells. Hopefully the Falcons will spread the ball out more with their WR's which could cause more holes for Turner to run through. Wells was a speculative pick. The Cards are a bit of a mess at the moment with the QB situation and I hope that means Wells will see more of the ball. Also glad I picked up Davis as the TE - he is about the only guy Alex Smith has any confidence in throwing to on a consistent basis. Happy to pick up Akers as the kicker as my mob rely more on FG's to win the game than TD's as our defence will limit the other team from scoring. Anyhow, I have upgraded my trading block, let me know if you have any offers.
The difference Fez is you probably took him in the 3rd or 4th last year not the 7th! He is explosive, he will regain his top 5 WR form.
Counting on Vick to return to his 2010 form for Jackson to excel. I am backing Vick to have a big season, (good pick up Simon) so Jackson will do well, he needs an attitude adjustment too and i think that will happen. Think the Eagles as a whole will do much better this year which is why i was disappointed to lose McCoy the pick before my own, personally i'm hoping Stafford can repay the faith and even improve on last years efforts as some consolation to missing McCoy.
Yeah 4th round but made up for it with AJ Green at pick 112 or something and Stafford at 165 last year
