Happy with that @stripey and while I get @Len's point re Crouch and Mathieson, I am in favour of leaving it as it is now. An injury or two at either Adel or Bris could see both those boys come into the frame to play, while just as easily an injury to Swallow, or Campbell doesn't get a game and their seasons are shot also.
I think we draw the line at those default players who have Long Term Injuries personally, let’s face it if they didn’t have issues they would already be on a list! 6 hours is up from 6am so @port_leschenault gets Matt Crouch for now with Pick 11 @Bearfly you’re up
@stripey @Len is it possible to hold the draft. Historically we have gone on final ladder AFTER FINALS positions for draft order hence last 2022 Graeme went last because he was premier even though he didn't finish first in home and away. As such i had thought i have pick 15 and gumby has pick 18 finishing premier. If we have to stay with this sytem i understand but just wanted to point this out as particularly in first round it makes a couple of places can make a big difference. Let me know thoughts or anyone else I do understand with the lack of organization we have if its just simpler to stick with what we have but it is what we have done every previous draft and was probably just not noted this time around.
this does make the most logical sense IMO, not having the premier pick last just doesn't pass the sniff test....
Yes it's always been premiers pick last from what I can remember. Pretty sure for the finalists we just used the ladder position at end of H&A as the tie-breaker for the teams eliminated in the same round of finals, otherwise it was actual finishing position post-finals.
Nothing like policy on the run... yes it seems an oversight to have gone off ladder order rather than including finals results. The changes as I see it only affects the top 4 who all made the semis. 1 GLE 2 WAR 3 SBT 4 WOY WOY and SBT played the GF with WOY winning, meaning the final positions would be... 1 WOY 2 SBT 3 GLE 4 WAR
