Swannie finally goes. Curses. Off up Cotham Rd to Outer Kew (I thought that was Balwyn, but...)

*sighs* I suppose if you absolutely HAVE to be Far Kew....

Would the coach from the consistently hottest place in mainland Australia please make his way to the stand.

I must say Swan's tatts may not fit in down High St FarKew....

A steal at number 6 I'd say....just hitting his straps now....no Arizona for the blue-collar ball magnet...

The Venus Bay franchise is up next - however the coach may well have gone to bed there on a school night.

WTF - Spuddy Ryder in the top 10? Big cohones from the Lenhman, and much respect for courage shown.

Rucks have by far the shortest points tail.
Cox is old and Nic Nat wants his job, Sandi has bad toes, Ryder is scoring huge WITH Bellchambers knocking off half the hitouts.
Pretty sure it was a safe call, not a brave one :)

Ruckman before midfielder? Very large cajones.

Ruckman are a bit thin on the park I suppose....

Wow, I got Ryder with my second round pick in the ORFFL. That was around pick 30 odd.

How things change after 3 months.

Pity I also drafted LeCras, Swallow, LRT, Myers and H Shaw. Injuries killing me.

And the mention of the lack of homework leads to the first of what will probably be a number of references to this photo for the Darraweit Guim Dirigibles:

    <img src="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Hindenburg_burning.jpg" />

Either that, or we are just full of hot air.

PS - and yes, I've forgotten how to actually make an image show in this thread ... things are collapsing at Darraweit Guim already...

Only other thing - just as a suggestion perhaps to help when this thread reaches its inevitable 45th page - can we, in the first or second post, put an updated list of the draft picks made and players already taken.

That way we don't have people drafting guys already drafted, they can just look through a list (ala the ORFFL draft list) and at worst do a search to ensure they're not picking Richard Tambling for the seventh time.

In the NBA draft this year and last, my target for 1st pick was taken with pick immediately before mine. JSmoove in season 1, and then D12 this year.

I've only got Gundagai standing between me and the guy I want to pick now. If he goes to Gundagai, then I'm a little confused and have 3 other players I'm willing to select with my 1st pick. I wish I could narrow the 4 down to 2. Would feel a lot more comfortable knowing it's clear cut who I will pick. Although, at least we have more than 30sec to make the decision as we do in NBA.

@ ant - I was surprised to find GAJ, pendles and selwood were gone before my #5 pick!

Relax, Buddy will still be there for you ........

I got Buddy at like pick 12 in ORFFL draft, threw my entire strategy out window as didnt expect him to be there.
