I know players go through form patches but seriously, 11 out of 13 Buffaloes that were part of the 2017 premiership squad and have played this year have dropped an average of 20ppg EACH! SERIOUSLY?! Some questions needing to be asked of Serengeti coaches and management over off-season regimes and whether any actual training was done amongst the celebrations
Pretty obvious from where I sit, that not many coaches are taking this ORFFU rule seriously.... 2. FIXTURE (g) Home teams will be required to post a match review no later than 2 days after the last AFL match (i.e. last game on Sunday, review posted on Tuesday).
this has been going on for some time ........... time to dish out some consequences as rules are rules. perhaps : failure to comply 3 times in a season you will you lose your 1st round PSD pick if you trade your 1st round PSD pick you will lose your second round PSD pick and so on..........
I'm also guilty, but I've been awol so believe I have a half-decent excuse. I do like @bryzza 's idea of docking PSD picks, but it won't be for this upcoming PSD because we can't keep making rules on the run like that... we're not the AFL. I'll put it to a vote, something along the lines of sustained breaches of rules are to be penalised with a loss of PSD pick, or something like that.
In the clear surrounds of a beautiful morning here in Banchang, it can be seen clearly, that alcohol consumption and posting to ORFFU threads is not necessarily in the best interests of this competition......
I dunno, I reckon it was OK @choppers My first reaction was harsh but thinking about it a bit more I was coming around to the idea. i reckon the best bits about the ORFF communities is the idea that it is a community not just another fantasy competition and the discussion and involvement outside of selecting a team and looking at results is something we definitely want to encourage.
Farking Ronke... carried that little prick all of 2017... ditched him when he was very unlikely to get a game... Now he kicks 7 goals in a game!!
long time reader, first time poster! Coaches - I think at seasons end the Chinese Bye Virus needs to be revisited. I think last year the fixture was 'fixed' with teams matched up against teams with similar numbers unavailable due to this insidious AFL borne Chinese Bye Virus. This may have not been the case this year. This week my Bulls have 5 players unavailable (4 of which are best 15) and will be coming up against a side that has 2 players unavailable. I'm sure there will be other discrepancies amongst other match ups - In a close comp the Chinese Bye Virus will shape the final 8. Not sure what the answer is however the 'AFL' could do us all a favor and incorporate across the nominal bye rounds. Another alternative may be that as 11% of the teams aren't playing due to this virus that we adjust our teams to accommodate this eg a 13 player (3-4-1-3-2) structure for when this occurs? Just food for thought. For the record I am not 'old' @choppers @JPK
