When you enter the team you will get a message saying team is incomplete, ignore it, it is saved as normal, it's just a warning not a fail note.
(because we only have 2 interchange spots, everyone can place their 3 interchange players wherever they want.) Essentially, we all need to name a minimum of 2 defenders, 2 midfielders, 1 ruck and 2 forwards - but ensure to only have 10 named players in total.
So the OOP wont be counted... what happens if there is multiple counts of OOP, how do you know which is interchange?
Fitzy, within the Emergencies drop down menu there is a category called Int. I am guessing that is for Interchange and that's the slot you should use for your third Interchange player.
Sorry, was pretty stupid just copying my earlier explanation and pasting it to explain a second time. I didn't realise it would be confusing, and thought you must have just missed the earlier explanation. Don't use your emergencies for anything other than emergencies. They could come in handy if one of your starters drops out. Pick your team as usual, EXCEPT, do NOT select more than 10 players in total in scoring positions - def, mid, ruck, fwd, int. You need to select a minimum of: 2 defenders, 2 forwards, 2 midfielders and 1 ruck. The other 3 players can go wherever you want - just don't select them out of position as that could end up messy. For example - let's assume the first 7 are locked in already - if your 3 interchange players are say, a mid, a def and a fwd - you could put them all in their actual positions and have no interchange, or you could put two as interchange and one in their real position - either way has the same points outcome so doesn't matter which way you go. Another example. If your 3 int players were all defenders, you could either have 2 in defense and 1 on int, or vice versa, 1 in def and 2 on int. Again, same points outcome for both options. One thing you don't want to do is put any of your 3 int players Out Of Position as (as I understand it) there is no need to do so. If anyone does put a player Out Of Position, they will score half points for them as usual, so don't do it. I hope that makes sense. Is anyone still unsure about how to do it?
what about emergencies ant? I assume they are still valid with the reduced numbers? In a way they are even more important to separate a team which has ten players only from one which currently has a better squad.
Hope you haven't done your screen shots yet X, couple of late changes to the Misfits, Clint Jones thinks Rucking is right up his alley.

Quote from anthak on June 7, 2012, 14:39 yeah emergencies are still to be used as usual.
Judging by Xenomorph's comments today, it seems it's easier for him if we don't select emergencies during byes. They must automatically come on into the spare spots which messes with the auto calculated scores. So best not to select emergencies during byes

So this weekend coming up is Winter Solstice Round in the ORFFA.
Quote from Jolcon on May 11, 2012, 17:05 2012 ORFFA FIXTURE Round 7 Winter Solstice Round # Home Away 1 Marble Bar v Namatjira 2 Gariwerd v Nunnawading 3 Waikickamoocow v Birdsville 4 Iron Knob v Whitsundays 5 Mount Beauty v Darraweit Guim 6 Charlies Opening v Powlett Plains 7 Mawson Base v Far Kew 8 Cradle Mountain v Venus Bay 9 Gundagai v Foul Bay
In the southern hemisphere, many people accept that Winter Solstice is on June 21st each year. It is the day that has the shortest amount of daylight during it. In the Southern Hemisphere this is the Northern solstice, the time at which the Sun is at its northernmost point in the sky, which usually occurs on June 20 to 21 each year. It is a time of the year that has been celebrated in many different cultures around the world for many years, and the ORFFA believe it is an important time to honour as part of our FIXture. All games this round will be played under lights - except for at Marble bar of course, as they cannot power both the drinks fridges and the lights at the same time. Night vision goggles will most likely be required at that game. We have scheduled games at Waikickamoocow, Mawson Base and Marble Bar to also allow for a wide range of time slots as the games in these three venues will be in exclusive timezones, to each other and also to Victoria et al. The games at Iron Knob and Charlies Opening will both be underground, so we have scheduled them to be during the middle of the day, as all theur games are under lights. We have scheduled two feature matches which will be broadcast primetime live throughout the world, on Thursday the 21st June. They are the two games scheduled on mountain top at Cradle Mountain and Mount Beauty - Each will be on a separate channel so that viewers have a choice of match to watch. There will be ancient pagan ceremonies conducted leading up to sunset, and the games will begin immediately after sunset is complete, to be able to show the sunset from ontop the mountains on tv. The games at Gariwerd and Gundagai are insignificant. We hope you have an amazing Winter Solstice this year and wish you all the best for the coming round of play. Regards, anthak FIXture Committee
We like pagan ceremonies at Marble Bar, but suggest the Nunga's bring their own virgins, we are all out....
By some fluke of selection processes the Misfits are going to go 3 and 0 through the byes Six next year sounds good to me!
