Even more silliness............ Is the 'Wales Medal' a reference to the Chief of our tribe? Should it not then be the Walesy Medal or the Les W. Medal to avoid any suspicion of sponsorship from the Bank of New South Wales? We already have NAB on just about everything.

Honestly at first I thought it ment Robert Walls, until I was retyping the names in the first post. I think the Les W. Medal has an official ring to it...

Yeah when I suggested it the reference was definately to his holiness, Your silliness makes perfect sense Terry. I vote for the Les W.
If it were even the merest suggestion of a Robert Walls Medal, at least half of the ORFFA would tow Fitzy out to sea and the worst polluting factories in Thailand would be relocated to Venus Bay, just before Snoz presses the button.
Agreed, I like Walls slightly more than I like Terry Wallace whom I am convinced is thepersonificationof a cock on legs
For mine the top scoring player wins the Les W medal. The bottom scoring player takes home the Relton Roberts Medal; assuming you be bothered putting in that much effort Fitzy. While I have little doubt Zac is a spud but compared to Relton - no contest in my book.I suggest you somehow note sub affected scores and they are not considered for the 'worst player' award. The true spud is the guy who 'plays' the whole game and scores 20, not the guy who takes the vest off plays 5 minutes and scores 18.
Thought about how I would to the 'worst player award' the other day and decided it would be to much effort, how would I calculate it, you can't have a new rookie come in for one game and score 10, when Zac puts in the hard effort every week averaging 50 all to come runner up, would have to have a minimum amount of games played and so forth, if anyone else wants to do it, feel free
good decision I think Fitzy. A possible alternative is to ask each of the 18 managers to nominate their worst and supply the points earned (and time on field for that player?) game by game.
Nominations for name of the prestigious medal close on Friday the 8th or March, really shouldn't take that long to think of a name though. Once we have the suggested names, each team will vote on which name they prefer before Friday the 15th of March. Nominations so far: Zac Dawson Medal Nathan Buckley Medal Gary Ablett Medal ORFFA Brownlow Medal Relton Roberts Medal The Lethal Medal The Wales Medal The Les W. Medal The McCarthy Medal The BAROFFA Medal The Bob Davis Medal Ok so with the hype of round 1 I completely forgot about the name of the award, put a vote in for the name you prefer. Would be good to do have a name by the end of round 1 so if you could post your vote in as soon as you see this post that would be great. My vote goes to, The Les W. Medal Cheers, Fitzy
