With pick 20 the Misfits welcome Andrew Boston GWS. Henceforth to be known as the altTaylor Len, As permy recordsAndrew Boston is a Rookie listed player for Gold Coast not GWS. Great to see you get Dunstan at 16 adding to your Saints/GWS midfield, joining Steven, Ward and Josh Kelly. Habit took over my fingers Dean, he is as you say a GC rookie, not a GWS one. The three of them are probably my last youth mid picks for 2 or 3 years.

Very astute Lenski I half thought I might have been the only one interested in him Snoz, but once Taylor went I didn't want gamble on him being there at 50...

I thought there was something wrong with me wanting Boston, good to know there I have company Len:) (I was taking him at #37) And apols for Taylor......I wanted Dayle or Lennon but both snapped up. With a Fwd line looking like Kiev, had no choice.

I reckon the draft is going well and Len's guidance is a thing of beauty; we have made good progress to date and can afford - without setting a precedent - to be a little charitable. For example, we all know that Lenny and Fitzy have school commitments and that phase of life is, in reality, far more important than our keeper league. We have a nice balance of people in ORFFA and I would hate to go through the pains of last year again. So please Len, if it is necessary could we cut the boys and others who are on tight schedules a little slack. Not 48 hours but a little if necessary. My guess is you will not have to, but ... I hope everyone is okay with that. It is good to keep the whip out but for mine in Portia's words (well, all right the Bard's) 'the quality of mercy is not strained.' P,S. I hope we all 'know' the whole quote!

I don't mind a bit of song and dance... but I drafted Nathan Freeman, not Jonathon Freeman :)

I hear where you are coming from chels, and I agree that the spirit of fair play should apply. By now we have a fair idea of people schedules and commitments, if I can see that extending the time by an hour or so is very likely to allow a pick I'll do so, but I will be more inclined to extend beyond this towards the end when, hopefully we running ahead of time. I don't foresee anyone not being able to pick within 18 hours so I feel the discussion is moot and maybe ant is just trying to get his post count up :p

In fact, bugger it. Thought I'd need some time after my first three options went, but we'll just grab Tom Curren from St Kilda instead. Gives me 3 StKilda midfielders, which isn't by design. But they are young so that's OK as well.

Interesting pick Chris... hopefully they don't end up robbing too many points from each other

Iwas going to grab him originally as my first choice, but when I got Armitage I had the same concern as you. Hopefully Curren, Newnes and Armitage all have good years and maybe I can eventually trade one to another team!
