And now might be a timely ... er ... time ... to note we have a Thursday night game this weekend coming. Early lockout and the like. Those who didn't use up all their emergencies in the loophole possibilities that existed on the weekend just gone may have an advantage in the weekend coming. On an entirely different tack, my wife's Lilacs seemed to be in full bloom on the weekend just gone. I'm now nervously glancing at the fixture to take note of when the Blimps have to play them.
Len, to state the obvious, my team in here is the team I've selected, and will update accordingly over the next couple of days... I didn't change the original entry in the tsLeagues part. Damn Jack late omission.... boooo I'm over in the land of sNoZ at the moment, albeit a little further west... are we having rolling lockout for Thursday and then the weekend, or we have to name teams Thursday for the entire weekend?
How did you sneak in Bandit....... <img alt='' width='800' height='569' style='width: 672px; height: 530px;' src='/Portals/0/Users/184/64/1464/us%20customs.jpg[/img]
Just to confirm team entry deadlines, is the below correct? ]4 games by the Friday game 14/3 (Coll v Freo) ]1 game by the Thursday game 20/3 (Gee v Ade) ]4 games be the Friday game 21/3 (NM v Ess) color: #000000;] color: #000000;]Or do we need all players for this weekend available by]Thursday game 20/3 (Gee v Ade)?
Bearing in mind we have multiple instances for 4 day footy weekends coming up my personal preference is to only roll the split weeks. My real preference, stated at the time was for the fixture to be released with this stuff detailed, it would still be my preference that the fixture committee give guidance on this and all over potential similar weekends with an eye to past calls. This is only an opinion though, Terry may have a whole different approach in mind

Hold on, can I confirm - are we only naming Crows and Cats players by game time tonight, or do we have to finalise our entire teams by game time tonight? I just want confirmation so I'm doing the right thing.

I'll create a new topic when I get some time a bit later that outlines the ORFFA rules on lockouts for the rest of the season. I'll see about pinning it on the first page page of the ORFFA thread so that people can refer to it any time.
Thanks JC. Split rounds are the worst. That said, I'm looking forward to watching the footy tonight - always enjoy watching a game from Kardinia Park.
Oh, and given that we are naming just tonight's players, I'll add Eddie Betts to my team. will bung him on the ground in case, by some horrible misfortune, Brent Harvey doesn't play. So right now my team is: DEF: Rance, McKenzie, Walker, TBC (McPharlin) MID: Cornes, TBC, TBC, TBC (Coniglio) RUCK: TBC FWD: Westhoff, Walters, Vickery, BETTS (McDonough) I/C: TBC, TBC (Foley) Underlined players have played, bold playing tonight. And I'll need to find another defender now that Otten, Walker and Seedsman are all out next week.

I'll punt on the other players being available to play when teams are named tomorrow.TSLeagues team is updated as per this decision.
