As @JC mentioned 2018 is not an exception in the ORFFA with seventh and eighth making the grand final. In terms of making the Grand Final 7th and 8th have been the most successful positions with 3 GF berths each whilst for winning the premiership 1st and 8th rank equal first with two flags each followed by 2nd and 3rd with one flag each.
