I'm fine with the trade.
On with the show...
We have another live trade:
Larrikin Lagoon receive: Pick 31
Venus Bay receive: LLL 2022 2nd round PSD and pick 73
Confirmed, just need 6 to support
That’s 6, ball may roll again.
Well, ignore my page
Candyman strikes again..
Lefties trade PSD picks 66 & 93 and their 2022 3rd round pick to the Devils in exchange for PSD picks 49 & 52.
Don't trades during a draft have to be for an equal number of assets?
Excluding the future draft pick (ie 2022 PSD or 2021 MSD) component - yes - so that all teams end up with 28 players after all current draft selections are made.
In a simple example team might trade one early pick for one late pick in the 2021 PSD and may agree a single pick (or alternatively multiple draft picks) in the 2022 PSD is required back their way to balance it out.
Thank you for the clarification TTH. I stand corrected.
Happy with the trade.
@Bandit it looks like you did not delete Higgins for TSleagues, you have picks 41 and 42 in the draft but with him in your team TS Leagues has you listed as having 28 already which indicates 42 may take you to 29 players which indicates a list numbers issue.
@Len, sorry to trouble you but can we see if there are any players different between the spready and following team list
As @TheTassieHawk has mentioned above Charlies Opening have 28 players as per TSLeagues. As well as still including Jack Higgins the Spelunkers three delistings as per the below quoted post are still in TSLeagues.
There were no additional delistings from @Bandit in that thread.
After Bandit removes Higgins and COS’s three delistings they will back to the correct status of having 24 players at the start of the PSD.
So far in the 2021 ORFFA PSD Bandit has drafted Connor Stone and Thomas Highmore to the Charlies Opening squad but these players need to be added in TSLeagues bringing the COS squad up to 26 players so by my calculations COS have two more active selections in the 2021 PSD, picks 41 and 42 which would again make @Len ’s spreadsheet correct.
I haven’t checked @Len ’s spreadsheet however from a quick look at squads in TSLeagues a few things I could pick up in terms of getting squads back to the numbers they should have been at the start of the 2021 ORFFA PSD are:
Retired players need to be deleted from TSLeagues for
Wagga Wagga Wombats @Lenny120
Iron Knob Codpieces @jimbowan
Players are required to be added in TSLeagues by:
Marble Bar Misfits @Len – Kane Farrell acquired from the Devils in a trade
All agreed and correct, and I will remove Higgins after posting this.
It pays to note that during the draft, the google spreadsheet that Len maintains is the source of truth. TSLeagues, anyone elses spreadsheet etc are all irrelevant, this is why it is so important that coaches verify the spreadsheet prior to the draft.
@Len does a great job keeping track of all the movements, but apparently he is indeed human, so we have to make sure he doesn't make the odd mistake.
So if there is any doubt, and we can't verify accuracy of one list versus another during the draft period via forum posts or whatever, it will be the Google sheet listed in the relevant draft thread that will be the one chosen as being accurate.
Fixed Farrell, thanks mate apprecioate the assist, I'm pretty ratshit atm
Glad it seems I am not the only one. Good to see the community help.
Farrell was on my want list - went well against the Crows.
I blame TiB for all of these shenanigans
Wagga Wagga Wombats @Lenny120 also need to remove their four delisted players as per the quoted post below from their squad in TSLeagues:
Separate names with a comma.
