OK folks, bit of an update after Round 2 Vic/Tas have posted a huge number for The Others to chase down, with Tom Stewart and Touk Miller posting huge scores, Miller was running around in the change rooms after the game telling everyone who doubted him to get stuffed. Salem made up for a poor first round with a 99. This leaves Vic/Tas with a huge 1826. Tom McDonald telling @snoz how much he loved Nareewillock by posting a massive 52 in his second round. The Others will need to rally in a big way. Olly Wines, Tomahawk and Charlie Dixon represented, but there were a few stinkers in Impey, Whitfield, Ziebell and Selwood. On a positive note there is only improvement to be had, but it's going to need to be across the board as the gap is a huge 304 points... it's going to be hard to see them coming back from this. Picking the best possible lineups for each of the sides sides it's a lot closer with only 47 points in it
Thanks for the update! Can see a problem in the best possible scores with Laird listed twice. Let’s go Vic/Tas!
After Round 3 it's a wrap... get to the choppaaaaaaaa (I hope you read that in your Arnie voice) Vic/Tas improved their score by 13 points as Jarryd Lyons had a bit of a day out. Daniel Rich, Bailey Dale and Christian Salem probably the misses for the Vic/Tas selectors, but overall a very healthy 1839 posted. Not choosing Parish probably the only oversight from the selectors. I issued a bit of a rallying cry to The Others to make a game of it, and respond they did, improving their score by a massive 220 points. Hardwick, Impey, Whitfield and Selwood all lifting. Posting a more than respectable 1742, leaving Vic/Tas running out the winners by 97 points. The injury to Fyfe hurt their chances massively, and if you combine that with just one of their players having a day out, the result might have very well been different. If we have a look at the best possible scoring (ie: if we were all Nostradamus), The Others run out the victors with a huge 2107! The Package with his "One hundred and eiiiiiiggggghhhhhty" was the the standout, with cameos from Pendles and Jeremy Cameron the other two highlights across the carnival. Vic/Tas best 15 The Others best 15 So that draws a conclusion to the sideshow that is state of origin this year, now it is back to the real stuff... anyone got a tank laying around?
Excellent win by the Vic Tas team! how did you select the interchange line fir the best teams Bandit? Surely we had better scorers than those players, or is it those ones to ensure a player from each team?
