Thanks @That KI Guy for trading me your future 3rd round PSD pick during the 2021 pre-season draft as this pick ended up being pick 38 and was used to draft defender Jake Bowey. It is the second ORFFA PSD in a row that Bowey has been selected with pick 38 although in 2021 he was classified as a forward/midfielder.

Usually the Cradle Mountain draft-board is quite decisive and a clear-cut candidate emerges for each draft pick. One notable exception was pick 34 at the 2021 PSD and I actually found it difficult to choose between four players with Bowey one of the candidates. In the end I opted to select Brayden Cook with pick 34, Bowey was selected four picks later at pick 38 by the Packers who also drafted one of the other candidates I had for pick 34 - Caleb Poulter who remains a Packer.

@dmandrews Jake Bowey is an exciting player to watch, but not a huge scorer. Hope he is on an upward curve.

I’ve been patiently waiting for my first pick, and hoping all along that Stengle would fall to me :( :(

@dmandrews is up but presume we’re holding fire awaiting Hayes ruling on @bama selection

correct, wasn't an AFL listed player at the draft start, so is a MSD target for all.

@bama you will need to go again mate

While this may be the case for Jack, there are a couple of others who were listed before the draft commenced. And at the great speed we are going we can start picking 2023 draftees soon.

I'm not sure whether to pot it here or elsewhere, but a trade of draft picks has been agreed to between the Nuffers and Cradle Mountain.

Cradle Mountain trade PSD pick 51 and their 2023 5th round PSD pick to the Nuffers in exchange for PSD pick 91 and the Nuffers 2023 4th round PSD pick.

If this trade receives approval the Nuffers may well be next up to the podium pending any issues surrounding Jack Hayes.

Nuffers will need to hold until Mt Beauty take their pick again or the time period elapses

Not a problem at all Bandit. We're in and out and all over the place with Saturday basketball responsibilities so that's no stress.
