I decided to give the old AI a burl and this is what it came up with. I didnt give any prompts, just asked for a review of the 8 games, and copy and pasted the scores. I have not fact checked any of this, so there very well might be issues.

TS League Round 17 Review: One Point of Perfection
Round 17 delivered everything a fantasy coach could ask for—monster scores, heartbreaking injuries, huge individual performances, and one finish that will be talked about for years. Across the league there were blowouts, upsets and finals-shaping victories, but nothing could top the drama at Wagga Wagga.

    Match of the Round
Wagga Wagga Wombats 1089 def. by Larrikin Lagoon Lefties 1090
It simply doesn't get any closer.

The Lefties escaped with a scarcely believable one-point victory after Max Hall's enormous 143 proved the difference in a contest where every bench emergency, late inclusion and donut mattered. Karl Worner (115), Jordon Sweet's emergency score (112) and Darcy Wilmot (104) provided the backbone, while Wagga received outstanding performances from Luke Davies-Uniacke (121), Tanner Bruhn (113) and Cam Rayner (102).

Both sides were forced to navigate multiple zeroes, making every point precious. In the end, the Lefties found just enough scoring from unlikely sources, consigning the Wombats to one of the cruellest defeats imaginable.

One point. Season-defining for one side, utterly heartbreaking for the other.

Waikickamoocow Incorrigibles 1183 def. Iron Knob Codpieces 961
Waikickamoocow capitalised on an injury-ravaged Codpieces outfit to record a comfortable 222-point win.

Josh Dunkley (110), Josh Ward (105) and Zac Bailey (100) all produced strong midfield performances, while Murphy Reid's 90 continued his impressive campaign. The Incorrigibles didn't need to hit extraordinary heights—they simply avoided disaster.

Iron Knob never really had a chance after fielding numerous zeroes from Jack Sinclair, Blake Acres, Jack Macrae, Jarrod Witts, Riley Thilthorpe and Zac Williams. James Peatling (102), Colby McKercher (112) and Mabior Chol (100) battled hard, but they were carrying far too much weight.

Sometimes survival is enough. Waikickamoocow survived comfortably.

Shark Bay Tigersharks 1198 def. Charlies Opening Spelunkers 1154
    Harry Sheezel happened.

The superstar's colossal 180 was comfortably the highest score of the match and proved the decisive factor in a high-quality contest. Hugo Garcia (125) continued his breakout season, while Matt Roberts (100) provided crucial emergency cover.

The Spelunkers certainly weren't poor. Nick Daicos (133), Zach Merrett (120) and Luke Jackson (94) all delivered, but they simply couldn't match the sheer scoring power generated by Sheezel's incredible performance.

When someone posts 180, you're usually playing for second place.

Wineglass Bay Packers 1346 def. Birdsville Battlers 1108
The Packers produced one of the performances of the season, cracking 1300 with a relentless team effort.

George Hewett (140), Seth Campbell (143), Bodhi Uwland (122), Tom Sparrow (120) and Lachie Ash (105) ensured points came from every line. There were no passengers.

Birdsville had some genuine stars of their own, with Ned Moyle (127) and Bailey Smith (125) leading the way, but too many modest scores elsewhere left them unable to keep pace with the Packers' avalanche of points.

Wineglass Bay didn't just win—they overwhelmed.

Gundagai Grasshoppers 1381 def. Junee Jaguars 1076
The Grasshoppers reminded everyone why they're among the premiership contenders with the highest score of the round.

Charlie Curnow (144), Jordan Dawson (135), Clayton Oliver (112), Lachie Neale (109) and Brodie Grundy (105) spearheaded a frighteningly balanced performance, while Patrick Cripps' emergency 95 ensured there was no drop-off.

Junee fought hard through Tim Taranto (102) and Kieren Briggs (93), but never looked capable of matching Gundagai's relentless firepower.

When your stars all fire together, 1381 is the result.

Gariwerd Cockatoos 1292 def. Venus Bay Vultures 1248
One of the highest-quality contests of the round saw Gariwerd overcome a brilliant Venus Bay performance.

The Vultures had the highest individual scorer outside of Sheezel, with Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera exploding for 160, while Luke Parker (142), Jagga Smith (113), Patrick Dangerfield (111) and Kysaiah Pickett (103) all impressed.

But Gariwerd simply had too many contributors. Changkuoth Jiath (131), Lachlan McAndrew (115), Max Holmes (114), Sam Durham (109), Francis Evans (109) and Blake Hardwick (105) spread the load beautifully to claim an important 44-point victory.

    Depth beat brilliance this time.

Nareewillock Nuffers 1267 def. Lovely Banks Lilacs 988
The Nuffers enjoyed one of their most complete performances of the season to comfortably account for the Lilacs.

Bailey Dale was magnificent with 151 in defence, Connor Idun added 124, Jason Horne-Francis continued his outstanding form with 131, while Harry Himmelberg's emergency 114 proved invaluable after Lachlan Blakiston's zero.

Lovely Banks had good contributions from Isaac Heeney (108), Patrick Lipinski (104) and Callum Wilkie (100), but too many low scores and several donuts left them well short.

The Nuffers continue to build momentum at exactly the right time of year.

Mount Beauty Uglies 1325 def. Cradle Mountain Devils 1274
The highest-scoring game of the round certainly didn't disappoint.

Max Gawn reminded everyone why he's still one of fantasy's premier ruckmen with a dominant 165, while Bradley Hill (159), Darcy Fogarty (121) and Christian Petracca (117) powered the Uglies to a superb 1325.

The Devils threw plenty of punches themselves. Rowan Marshall (133), Toby Greene (132), Toby Nankervis (128), Darcy Wilson (115) and Darcy Byrne-Jones (108) all produced outstanding scores, but Scott Pendlebury's zero and a handful of quieter performances ultimately proved costly.

A 1274 would win most weeks. In Round 17, it wasn't enough.

    Round 17 Awards
Coach of the Week: Wineglass Bay Packers — 1346 points with outstanding contributions across every line.

Heartbreak Award: Wagga Wagga Wombats — losing by a single point is the fantasy equivalent of hitting the post after the siren.

Performance of the Week: Harry Sheezel (180) — a match-winning masterclass.

Defender of the Week: Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera (160) — an outrageous score from the backline.

Biggest Statement: Gundagai Grasshoppers — 1381 points is the sort of score that puts the rest of the competition on notice.

As the finals loom, the margins become slimmer, the pressure grows, and every emergency score suddenly matters. Round 17 was a timely reminder that fantasy seasons can turn on a single point—and after this weekend, a few coaches will be checking their teams with equal parts satisfaction and regret.
