I felt it to be fairly even tbh, I'd be surprised if either group of three outscored the other by much next year.. If anything FB are down slightly if you consider Richmond are on the up, Shulz's team can't play that crap 2 years in a row surely and Rivers is looking for a better team - Up against Bartel who appears unlikely to improve, Adams has more upside than Shulz no question, but I don't think Ibbotson is a star over Rivers.
Works for me although I was in discussions with both coaches about players that are listed here so feel compelled to veto for selfish reasons!
As I said earlier in the year I think Coaches should be allowed to trade with freedom unless the deal is GROSSLY lopsided or other coaches feel someone is being badly taken advantage of. This isnt the case here IMO, nice trade. I mean who knows how it will turn out in terms of 2013 SC points at this stage
The management of Larrikin Lagoon and Venus Bay have agreed in another trade that means that Larrikin Lagoon's Bryce Gibbs and pick 56 will be traded to Venus Bay in exchange for Heath Scotland and pick 26.

Foul Bay have indicated that they will be holding a press conference shortly to explain to members how and why talks broke down and how they intend to regroup for season 2013.
Should we be letting this trade go through? Looks like the Director of Winning just strengthened his squad!
I just want to make it clear that I wasn't actually voting to veto this trade. It was more of a comment that I thought the trade was good for CR. I probably should have chosen my words differently. I didn't mean for it to be taken so literally.

The supreme executive beings of Larrikin Lagoon and Wagga Wagga have agreed on a trade that involves Larrikin Lagoon's Taylor Hunt moving to Wagga Wagga in exchange for Keiren Harper.

Thanks Fitzy On another note: The Packers have traded Adam Cooney to the Lefties in exchange for Claye Beams.

Quote from Lenny120 on September 17, 2012, 20:30 When i first made the trade, I thought it was quite a good move, as Goddard has the speculation of moving clubs as well as being nowhere near his best possible capability of late. Mundy has been in great recent form and should really take another big step next year. Now with these points being raised about the draft picks, i realize it was a mistake and I regret the decision of giving up those draft picks (initially I thought it was fair) and would like to retract the trade if possible? Sorry for inconvenience, from now on I'll wait until positions come out next year etc before i begin trading.
Can trades be re tracked after they are posted? I tried to re track a trade and was told too bad!
On the fence with this one. part of me says there is a 48 hour veto period, so if one of the people involved in the trade wants out, then so be it The other side of me says you should think about your trades before you commit!
It only takes a majority of votes to kill any trade, Lenny's was killed regardless of the retraction. I am a handshake guy tbh, once you shake on it it's done, but having said that I can't think of anything stopping you vetoing your own trade, state your case and others can veto or pass also? fwiw I think Terry will probably tell you you're in charge of trades, make a ruling (publicly), if parties are aggrieved it can be referred further...
Time to vote on this, I wanted to retract my trade within 24 hours and sent a PM to the other participant who refused my retraction (fair enough). I also asked on this board if there is a cooling off period with no response. But if this is the case I think all trades should be final once they are posted or introduce a cooling off period, if one person feels later they made a bad deal (as I did)it's too bad!
I vote 48 hour veto, Lenny's trade got vetoed more then the amount needed, I don't think yours did Bama I vote to keep the system we have. Also, Larrikin Lagoon have traded Tyson Goldsack to Venus Bay, and Venus Bay trade Ed Curnow to Larrikin Lagoon.
I vote for a 48 hr veto, however I would expect this relates to veto by peers without a vested interest. I presume the veto period starts as soon as posted in this thread and that all trades must be posted here? I am of the view that coaches should debate/negotiate trades behind the scenes via PM until both parties are satisfied. If you are not 100% sure or have not researched fully, then don't pull the trigger!
Why was the trade vetoed? It wasn't ridiculous and if he felt later on that he got shafted I think it's too bad. Just because the deal favours one party doesn't mean it should get vetoed, that should be kept for exceptional circumstances were some one is trading out for example Ablett and Buddy for Gumbleton and Melksham.
People seemed to have thought Lenny's was ridiculously unfair Bama. Thats why it was vetoed, the trade you are talking about wasn't ridiculously unfair.
