Here are the first 9 rounds for Season 2022

Thank you @Bandit & @chris88 for your help with theme ideas and Chris for always writing up the blurbs so neither Bandit or I have to.

    Round 1 – AFL Round 1
    Date: Wednesday 16th March
THEME – Out with Old in with the New Round

Like a giant slightly out-of-control straw broom sweeping a swathe through a layer of something-or-other, the ORFFA has undergone a wonderful patch of renewal, rebirth and resurrection in recent times.

Bravo to our left footers for their precise kicking skills.

And in fact bravo to our left feet as a whole for helping all of us stand straight and not lean too heavily to one side when we walk, run or go about our lives.

What would we do without them? Probably fall over, but, yeah.

In a landmark move, every player participating in the ORFFA's COVID Round will in fact be presented with a small case of COVID to enjoy privately or share with others.

When pressed for comment by the football media on what on earth they were thinking, ORFFA officials muttered several unintelligible responses from behind brightly coloured face masks.

THEME – Let them eat CHOCOLATE Round

It is a little known historical fact that, before she lost her head in the most literal of ways, a certain long-gone French queen actually implored her fair subjects to snack on chocolate for the good of their health.

Government officials of the time altered the quote to refer to cake in a bid to aid the country's then struggling bakery establishment.

Thanks @Jen for a great read. Left footers it is for next week's review.

Just so you are all aware. Paul Kelly has graced the cows Muso round right from it's inception; so no carpetbaggers thank you.

RIP Shane Warne; as Paul Kelly wrote, and I love these three lines:
"Each time he came in to bat or bowl
He believed in his powers to take control
Even when he was not in the peak of condition"
