With pick 57 the Misfits draft Sebastian Ross from the mighty Saints isnt that two players this draft that have been touted as the next pendlebury? Better than the next Zac Dawson I guess! How long until we adopt ol' Zac as our official league mascot?

It's a race I'd be happy to win Re the midseason draft, if it hasn't been done already someone please get a thread started on it separate to this, of course Terry may decide that it's two and that's it.. [span style='font-size: 12px;]One thing though, compulsory delistings does increase involvement.

Tempted to institute a rule that for the remainder of the draft, any player taken must be compared to an established AFL player. There'd have to be a silly media-driven hype machine soundbite or quote for just about any of the draftees or young players in the league, wouldn't there? 'He's the next ____ _____' etc.

I would hope that it wouldnt come to that though. And I'm not even suggesting that I would necessarily feel strongly enough to block a decision TiB may or may not make about this. Just merely suggesting it does not have to be the final word. Too many people feel that way in this society. NOT this ORFFA society btw.
Is that final Ant? Glad to see the Swannies have named the Nuffers newest draftee for Sunday's squad. Looking forward to Tim Membrey kicking 43 goals in a half to justify his selection.
During this quiet spell I shall entertain you with an unpaid commercial. Some of you may already know this, my eldest son Dylan is the Australian Super featherweight boxing champion. If you're in Melbourne on Friday, 8th March he's the main event for a fight night at Knox. If you would like to come to a great night (10 fights) and join us at a table, let me know and I can work out tickets for you.
If I lived in Melbourne andy I would be there. Nice offer. Pick #58, touted to be the next Relton, is Jake Neade. One NAB highlight does not a season make.
hope the champ goes well andy - your pride buzz still alive by the sounds of it! I a breaking story ORFFA supremo TiB unearths another port player and maintains that when port win the flag he will win ORFFA.
frantic magnetic board action as first TiB and then P'raptor steal draft candy from under the Waikik's noses. Too shocked to even kick wall.
I'm not 100% on this 'compulsory' de-listing of 2 prior to the mid-season draft. Will get back to you on that one, after I have emptied my bulging mail box. In the meantime, you enjoy your golf Bandit and please get very very drunk. Why couldn't you play golf before picking Paparone? /Portals/0/User%20Images/pain02.jpg
At pick 60 the Waikiks draft Brent Staker (D/F) of the Brisbane Lions. Welcome fella, our skilled masseuse will take care of your injuries, relax you and have you on the track as good as new asap.
Far Kew interim management are pleased to welcome their newest recruit to the club, #61 Jake Carlisle - Essendon
have Hibberd and Pears already BB, did not want to overload from the bombers. If / when Staker recovers he adds some nice options for me. Really like him, you might well have nabbed a cracker there BB.
BlueBeliever wrote: Thought you'd be all over Carlisle there chels Already gave him Tuohy - he could have had Jake as well. Calling JC (pauses to genuflect). Mate, all very nice you shortening the TS moniker, but there are two of you, both without avatars and I am loath to PM you pictures of naked transvestites in case they fall into the wrong hands. Perhaps you could adopt the painting below as your avatar? It was done by a friend. /Portals/0/User%20Images/counihan2.jpg
Gave me Tuohy, TiB? Gave? You requested a young port player with a light cold and offered part compensation. [span style='font-size: 12px;]A bit like offering a dodgy lady boy in exchange for one of the Bull's masseuses working hard on Brent Staker as we speak.
