Auction for Naismith and Sinclair completed. Sinclair's poor final aside (not on his own there), if anyone remains interested in the pair, feel free to drop me a line.

Like any good auctioneer (or even some utterly shit ones) I am re-listing ... with a slight tweak.

For auction, again, Messers Naismith (R) and Sinclair (R/F).

All the same previous details apply. Sinclair had a great final against Essendon, but a shocker against Geelong (not on his own there). Naismith, coming back from injury, averaged 70+ across the two finals Sydney played.

However, I'm also throwing my third round pick - pick 44 IIRC - into the deal.

So, a pair of handcuffed ruckmen and pick 44 in the PSD.

In return, I'm after a first round pick and a fit, young, quality mid or forward. Preferably a mid, I have to admit.

Auctions runs till 11pm this coming Monday (Melbourne time). By then my Richmond-related celebrations or commiserations should be well advanced.

If it's cheap Len, why not fill your boots? With Stevie J there to coach them you would be on a winner?

Oh, in all the commotion and Richmond related happiness I forgot - the auction is closed ... again. Inquiries will be considered via PM of course.

    AUCTION ALERT!

    Name: Aaron Francis
    Position: D/F
    Age: 20

Former number 6 draft pick. Huge talent, just needs a run at it. Might find a new club over the next couple of weeks, which could increase his opportunities.

    Asking Price:
While I’m not going to ask for 2 first round picks and 3 players like the Bombers, I would expect a good pick, good player or a lesser combination of both. Happy to look at any position, but would probably rank needs as follows...
    1) Ruck
    2) Defender
    3) Midfielder
    4) Forward

I’ll set the finish date as the 22nd of October. Seems as good a date as any.

I bid my highest available PSD pick, #35.

Thanks for putting an offer forward (I thought no-one was out there). It doesn't meet reserve, however. PSD looks to be pretty shallow to me after the first round, so with that being said, I would rather take my chances with Francis than with #35.

I'd be interested but my issue (and looks like a league one) is I have as much as a third of my team in positional limbo, potentially meaning huge changes in need.

A creative option (and a fair one), but one I can't run with for a few reasons. The first one being that the forward line is the least of my many worries at the moment. The surprise losses of Mumford and Mullett over the past month make the forward line even less of a priority than it previously was. The second one is that I am looking to improve my draft position for the first time in ages due to the afore mentioned problems. The third one is that pick 49 has currently been offered as part of a non-auction related deal, so is not currently on the table (I don't like to double deal).

    #fulldisclosure

Nope, I have nothing, our respective pick positions has me out at that offer.
I kind of miss having a luxury of draft picks :)

The perils of being at the pointy end. I can’t remember what having a decent draft pick feels like.
